Just sitting here going down memory lane, reading messages and posts. Hadn't really posted much here in nearly 20 years and the only thing I can think is that I was so cringey that it's embarrassing to read through now, but can't change the past. Young and dumb. I apologize. I miss those that I was close to and sadly it seems that there's no way to get into contact with the vast majority of them anymore. Thanks for keeping the site alive after all these years. I hope everyone is doing well.
of course, the biggest helper to that was realizing i'm a failure as a boy and a treasure as a girl :3
i mean. SAME? lol
i mostly mean i wish i could go back with the knowledge i have now. i feel like i wasted a lot of opportunities, didn't taken advantage of the spaces and freedom i had. too worried about being cringe. now i dont worry at all have over 1k followers on instagram, almost 1k on youtube, and all from me just stop giving a **** in a positive way
I miss the grassroots culture of some aspects of gaming - particularly fighting games. I miss following local tournaments and scenes - where things weren't about monteization as much, but about prestige.
Arcade culture is something that is deeply missed on my part. COVID was the death knell it seems.

I miss my arcade sometimes. My job now is so much more stable and low-stress than running an arcade in a failing mall, but I'm proud of the business I had when I had it.
I think my favorite thing I did was getting Tekken 6 before most of the rest of the country had it. New Yorkers were complaining on the Tekken forums that "someplace in bum**** Wisconsin has it before we do?!" and I had people coming from neighboring States to play it. Good times.
