I'm one of those people whose tried nearly every legitimate profession, I still do VOs once in a while, but not for anything impressive, sometimes it's for kiosks, sometimes for children's educational materials. I don't get much work from it though.
What's on my mind is a myriad of things:
1: I have yet to install a few programs, that I don't need at current to do the dev work I am focused on, but I'm still considering it because my computer still feels like it's a person whose lost a few memories.
2: noticed some missing files, am considering getting a harddrive to usb cable to hook up the old drive and see if I can't pull some more stuff off my old drive.
3: I want to unlock my hybrid and genesis incarnate slots on my tank in city of heroes, but I rarely get enough time to do the content necessary to get the XP. considering doing some of that tomorrow.
4: I've also got a buffet on my mind that I will likely be going to for my birthday. I'm considering upping my food intake to prepare a bigger stomach so I can enjoy more of the buffet. but it has it's drawbacks because then my normal food amounts will leave me feeling hungry. and I can't just drink tea all day.. meh, if I get into a good work mode I won't have time to recognize I'm hungry, so it should even out in the end.
5: thinking about relaxing tomorrow
6: I actually want to work on my projects, but I set a rule to keep work fun.. friday evenings to monday morning is for "fun projects" or rest. thinking about what fun game dev project I can work on (it doesn't have to be game dev, but that's usually what it ends up being, especially when I'm motivated and in the mood to do it).
7: also on my mind is that I promised I'd ship some "super hot" ghost pepper sauce I made to someone I know who wants it. but it's international shipping and I'll have to find a box and pack it with enough foam and peanuts, it'll be a job.
for that last one, I grew ghost peppers one year, I made 3 sauces with it "mild" which had less than 1 ghost pepper per bottle(sold out), "super hot" which had like 8 ghost peppers per bottle and turned out a neon orange color (reserved, people mix it in chili con carne), and what I call "weapons grade" which was essentially shredded ghost pepper in oil, and had like 32 ghost peppers in a single jar and turned out as a dayglow orange oil.. my friend likes hot food, so I sent her some weapons grade stuff, I told her to just take a tiny bit of it on the tip of a spoon and mix it in with a whole plate of food, but before long she was using spoon-fulls of it, I tried it myself, spoon-fulls.. that's enough to upset your stomach and leave your mouth burning for hours. she's gone through 6.5 jars of weapons grade ghost pepper oil, and wants whatever I have left. on the plus side if someone ever pepper sprays her she'll probably enjoy it "that smells nice".
jokes aside I do need to find a box big enough for 6 bottles and enough packaging to protect the glass bottles from the donkey kongs of the postal service. in a way that's another joke I guess. where "donkey kongs" is meant to illustrate the postal employees (especially of the hulking variety) who save time by throwing packages around, they throw it extra hard if it has a fragile sticker.. I used to think it was a joke till I did alot of shipping and flying and saw how they handle boxes at the airport... but yeah I'm not thrilled about the price either, shipping outside the usa somehow is the most expensive shipping you can do, this box will probably cost me like $50 - $80.
these are the things on my mind. that and when will the next english dubbed episode of some of the animes I follow be released online.
this list could go on and on if I keep thinking about it.
The first time I accessed World-Of-Nintendo.com was on my grandma's computer, a classic Windows 98 machine loaded up with AOL version..... 5.0? 6.0? Obviously it was installed from a CD-ROM that arrived for free in the mail, because back then it was faster to mail a CD-ROM than file share She passed away late last night peacefully after a long battle against father time. I have no shortage of complaints about her, and I'm not very torn up over the news at this moment, but I can at least sit here posting on my website and appreciate that she was the first person to provide me with internet access. She bought me Pokemon Yellow. Many more milestones, big ones, that I can be grateful for. I wish people weren't so complicated.

it's transgender voice training
with male-to-female transgender folk, the voice doesn't change when taking hormone replacement therapy, so you have to practice raising the larnyx, among other training
it's exhausting and not every transwoman will end up with a "feminine" sounding voice but i'm pretty sure i will
however now that you mention voice acting, that IS something i'd love to try sometime
Not sure where to post this, but this silly girl got hit by some random nostalgia this morning, and decided to Google to see if WoN chats were still around.... which led here. I was a regular sim battle chatter/rper way back in the day, and was just wondering if any of those people are still around here or otherwise? Hard to believe that was 20+ years ago, but it was a formative time, that's for sure! I know it would have been so much easier to keep in touch with Discord existed back then.
Well, at any rate ... happy holidays / new year's, everyone! ❤️

I remember the big Sim-Battlers like Nidoking and Emperor Frieza.
What's on my mind is with the new year, comes new opportunity. A nice mental reset and hopes that things will be great. Looking forward to it.
I've been enjoying browsing "neocities" and looking at user created small websites. It's reigniting my love of the internet. This so called "old web" or "yesterweb" sub-culture reminds me of what drew me to the internet, and this place, in the first place.
My first kid turns 13 today. Age is just a number... he's acted like a teenager for awhile now! I don't know really how I feel about this yet. I don't feel "old" but it does put time into perspective.
Gearing up for "camping season" and hoping to spend at least a couple of weekends out in the woods in the coming months. Trailer needs a bit of maintenance so nothing falls off on the way to camp like last time
