Really enjoying Switch 2. I got it with Mario Kart and Rune Factory, and they're great.
I'm also immensely pleased with how much better a ton of Switch 1 games run on the Switch 2. It's a night-and-day difference for games like the Legend of Heroes series and Ys. They don't even need updates, but I'm hoping they get them eventually to make them perform even better.

In order of how often they are used/let's be honest, how good they are...
Nintendo 64 (Still the greatest console of all time, especially for in person multiplayer)
Nintendo Switch (Could actually end up as the greatest console, helps when the launch title is arguably one of the greatest games ever)
Barely played any of the below recently.
Nintendo Wii (it also plays Gamecube Games so that helps)
Super Nintendo (only got this bad boy in 2020 and played through the original DKC Trilogy, also got Kart and the other Mario Games)
Xbox360
XboxOne (got it at release purely for Killer Instinct. Rare Replay was neat too)
PS2 (got it cheap 15 years ago just to play some of the RPGs)
GameBoy Advance SP
Nintendo DS Original (i think its died sadly)
Gameboy Colour
I think that's it!
I've never sold any console and I don't think I ever will.
I play Command and Conquer on the Computer at work.
I guess I use my partners laptop for streaming our N64 action but I have no intention to put any games on it.
From what I've observed over the past 20 years getting a PC is generally a one ticket to obesity, depression, having no life purpose, not reaching your potential...yeah not for me.

I was thinking about how sick it would be to mod and/or overclock my Switch, one that I've had since the launch of the console, and get an OLED to keep standard. I was looking at some 3D-printed cases that you can get that just have you disassemble your Switch and reconnect all its components into the new housing, with has a significantly larger and more effective fan, converting it to an at-home-only console that can safely run at the highest settings the hardware will allow. Having a high-performance Switch at home and an OLED to take with me would be great! But I can't entirely justify the expense when pretty much everything I do with my Switch works fine on the vanilla console.Leave a comment:

Best Buy had early Black Friday deals, so I pulled the trigger on a PS5. My wife and I don't stand on ceremony, so I just gave it to her as a super-early Christmas present. She's loving Astro Bot, and now she'll have her Monster Hunter Machine when the game comes out.1

I no longer own any consoles. The last console I had was a PS4 Slim and I sent that way earlier this year as a full commitment to PC gaming.Leave a comment:

I'll always support Nintendo and have a Switch, but most of my gaming lately has been on PC. I've also got a PS5 and PS4 connected to my TV. and a PS3 and xbox 360 in my closet. Also a Wii U somewhere maybe?Leave a comment:
