Really enjoying Switch 2. I got it with Mario Kart and Rune Factory, and they're great.

I'm also immensely pleased with how much better a ton of Switch 1 games run on the Switch 2. It's a night-and-day difference for games like the Legend of Heroes series and Ys. They don't even need updates, but I'm hoping they get them eventually to make them perform even better.

Switch 2 is great. Mario Kart is fun, but DK Bananza feels like the true launch title for me.

I upgraded my PS5 Slim to a PS5 Pro, in anticipation of GTA 6 and Ghost of Yotei.

I’ve managed to connect most of my consoles (sorry, Saturn and Dreamcast) in my office/game room along with some Analogue FPGA machines, though I mostly play on PS5 Pro.

Switch 2 is probably the first console I haven’t gotten for myself at or near launch, but my wife wanted her Pokopia machine so she could really just play Pokémon LeafGreen. Something about the game cards really turns me off about the console, but I know if they were ever to release a transparent color I’d get one immediately (or if something like the OLED in Mario colors…)

Pokopia machine is right. I finally got a Switch 2 about a month and a half ago and Pokopia is all I've used it for. Wanted it for that GameCube VC though.

I saw that the GCN VC came out but the game list was really small. As soon as there are a few more games, I'll renew my Nintendo Online. I probably spent more time on the virtual console than anything else on my Switch, aside from the time on Let's Go Eevee! where my daughter spent 100+ hours feeding and petting Eevee.

Are there any games on the GCN VC you're hoping they'll bring in?
Shoutout to Maian, made this back in ~2004 and never got the credit they deserved.

Yeah, they'll drip feed them over time to keep people continuously subscribed. They did that with the other virtual consoles. I'm on a NSO family plan with my GF and 6 of our friends. We all just pitch in $10 a year so it's no big deal, but having to pay $60 a year for an individual account is kinda BS.

Zelda: Twilight Princess and 1080 Avalanche are the ones I really want. Those were my childhood (well teen) favorites. Smash Bros. Melee would be nice to have too. My other favorites like Zelda: Wind Waker and F-Zero GX were there at launch.

1080 would be a great addition. Especially if they preserve the soundtrack. Something about snowboarding to Seether just clicked

I might be overly optimistic, but if Eternal Darkness is in the GCN VC, I'll be on that pretty fast.

I keep going back and forth on Nintendo. I have a tough time justifying the $80 for most games that will still be $80 five years from now. I have a tough time shelling out anything more than $250 for a console and game. Maybe emulation will come quickly like it did with the Switch!
