Great News, Everypony! Bethesda confirms TES and Fallout (Remasters) in the works!

IGN might stink to link, but, just to confirm the action: https://www.ign.com/articles/bethesd...-all-confirmed

I will say, it's not particularly exciting to know Obsidian is 100% confirmed to be working on the next Fallout game, considering New Vegas fell a little short of expectations on launch. Updates and patches to New Vegas have lead to a sort of retrospective review of the game and have been critically positive. I'm also bit worried, though, about what may happen with these games.

For Fallout, you may not know about this in the background, but Bethesda gave Obsidian a contract that if they didn't reach a certain score on Metacritic on launch, 85%+, they lost out on bonuses. It is a pretty terrible practice to tell a big studio that their game has to receive, essentially, critical acclaim or you aren't going to make a lot of money making it. Hopefully, Bethesda doesn't try this same kind of tactic and cause issues for the studio. For TES and Fallout, it's very worrisome considering Microsoft has been slashing jobs, including those at Zenimax (Bethesda's parent company) and Obsidian, and who knows what kind of talent still remains at these studios. Who knows if they're even going to be able to release anything in a decent time frame (not really Bethesda's forte, to begin with) without a slew of bugs or other problems (also not really Bethesda's forte)!

I've posted in the Discord prior to this the rumors of the TES and Fallout action from a journalistic resource, but this news was fully confirmed recently. These past sources:
