Xbox says they're working on a new console, presumably for release in 2027, but there is a lot of speculation right now that it's going to be cancelled.

My current guess is that there could be one more, but unless Xbox somehow surprises everyone with a big success, it's probably the last one.

I've owned every Xbox and have a good-sized library of games. It's a little sad to see it end. On the other hand, I'm cool with more games coming to PC instead. Microsoft has fully embraced PC gaming for a long time now, and Sony has come around to it more over the years. Nintendo is holding out.

TBH i'm not sure we're going to see another gen of xbox unless it's handheld like the switch
