Our 3D Movie Maker Movies from 2002 onwards

Gang, I think you will like this.

So, in 1995 Microsoft released a program called 3D Movie Maker.
It was a fun little program that let you make...animated 3D Movies.
Some of you may remember it or have stumbled across it over the years.

Anyway, my mates had it and we all sort of passed the program around and started making Movies in early 2002 (I say Movies, some of them are very short)

These are very much "of the time".
They might not be all that impressive bit oh my, the charm.
And if you are of that era, then you may just really get a kick out of it.

We used a lot of music from games of that time and the 90s, mostly in MIDI form as in order to give the Movies to each other they had to be small enough...to fit on a FLOPPY DISK! (thank you WinZip)
Also the program sort of prompts you to use MIDIs anyway, charming and enjoyable if you were a connoisseur of Video Game Music from that time.

As the years went on (it was mostly 2002-2004 that we were super active) we got things like CD Burners and Microphones to make things better.

A lot of the sound effects we used were from whatever crap we downloaded on the internet and stuff from games we owned, mosty Microsoft Golf and Command and Conquer (Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun)
I actually manually subtitled all the Movies, I'd watch them with subtitles ON if you want it to...somewhat make sense.

So, thankfully I made a big deal of backing it all up back in the day.
we all had copies of all the Movies and once we got CD Burners we made even more copies and passed it out amongst each other.

And here we are, in 2017 the Technology finally was good enough/we finally worked out how to upload all of them to YouTube, and so we did.
we also made our first Movie in 5 years and released it with them as a sort of way of kicking it off. (That Movie is "The Slippery Fish")

Anyway, enough waffling I will link (o) it up so yas can have a look.
I started making Shorts out of them as well, its attracting new people and might be a good way to just have a look.

    The YouTube Channel

    Farting Kimberley....a good starting point.

    And one more thing...
Of the random .wav files I downloaded, some of them are...
    The King of da Wackos!
Yes, I managed to work the whole "half my brain tied behind me back" speech into a movie...

And here is a short featuring his famous "Quack Quack Song"

    Enjoy!!!

      We thought so too

I even made posters for them which I'd love to show but you know...photobucket

We even had Movie Nights where we debuted new Movies and had awards nights (well, afternoons) in 2002 and 2003.
