Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number
I'm not really having much fun with the sequel as much as I had with the first game. This game is built on chance, luck and glitches. I cannot stress enough just how much bullshit is in this game than it's predecessor. Enemies able to shoot through hair-thin pixel corners, enemies that jump THROUGH doors to get you, dogs and fat enemies just insta-kill you just by a couple frame jumps. It's ridiculous. The story doesn't make as much sense to me and really doesn't do it for me either, all things considered.
I believe I've got four levels left of this game but once I'm done with it, I'm done with it and between the two, I find myself revisiting the first game more. I'm just disappointed because I've had this game on my wishlist for months after it was released, finally got it during the Holiday Sale then finally playing it. It had me hooked for maybe a third of it's length before I was turned off. Mainly because of the poor design of levels that gave enemies more of an advantage for them than you, enemies can just decide at a whim to come after you or stay long enough for you to fish them out and sometimes, they don't even want to be fished out.
Just disappointment.
