Hahaha I'll be sure to let her know. I think they may have misdiagnosed me when they thought I had HELLP in my pregnancy, it may have just been a super bad gallbladder attack. But hey, 3 weeks early, gave me time to prepare for the ULTIMATE gallbladder attack and, if I had still been pregnant at that time, exactly 40 weeks, uugghh. I wouldn't have been able to do much with her at ALL. But yep I'll still blame her ;)

So... Utah to California to Virginia to New York to Virginia to Utah. And a ton in-between those major stops. I've made some bad decisions, some good decisions. It's been fun.

Now I've got a wife and kid, working that usual 9-5 (or, my case, 4-2) six days a week, keeping life clean and simple. I don't play much in the way of games, if maybe a couple hours a week trying to play the greats I never got the chance to play in my wanderings (just finished Arkham Asylum last week!), and just traipsing around the area.

I said it in a previous thread, but it's just great to see so many folks living well on this site. Good to see y'all, no exclusions, and... well... maybe this a little rushed, but, I love you. All of you. Don't make it weird.

Just as lame as ever. I work, a lot, actually there more than I'm at home; 13+ hours on most nights during the week. Being I'm not married or dating, it's not like I'm "away" from anyone, well, except for my couch and bed. Heh.

Sure, the pay is nice and everything- enough that after the bills are paid, I still have some money to squirrel away.

Well, that's it for me.

Fuuuuck 13+ hour days. That's one thing I've still refused to do, even when bills are behind. I'm bad with money but good with free time. I just can't sacrifice my time like that.

Nada. Less phases her now than it does me, haha. Hopefully (though, sorta sadly) it stays that way.

Hey Poopsmith, congrats on settling down. Isn't having a kid the best when you're a kid at heart? Glad to hear you're doing well.

Everyone. Life and bills make being an adult super anxiety-ridden most of the time, but it's nice to come back here every so often to chat. It's an escape, again, only not quite as dangerous or stupid. Ehh, meaning I won't make similar decisions haha.

Good to see you all are doing well and figuring life out! Aesthetic's input has been missing from this site for a long time. SR is a bad ass, haven't seen him in ages! I totally understand the confusion over Internet personalities vs real life, like why is anyone trying to act up? I see the same thing in person though. Have a lot of thoughts on this I'd like to flesh out later on a keyboard. All I gotta say is Corrupt is one of the most genuine dudes I've met and felt like meeting an old friend from the first time I saw him. Love ya dude.

It's cool some folks are staying connected through Facebook but I ain't getting back on that site until some girl forces me to. Logging out of most commenty thumbs-uppy sites has been good for my mental health. I'm all into buzzphrases like "practicing mindfulness" and "binge drinking until 4am," neither of which go well with social media.

Yeah I finally graduated from a college in SW Washington in May and have since followed cheap rent down toward Salem OR temporarily. My goal at this point is to relocate for full time work and try somewhere completely new, but I'd stay near Portland for an especially cool offer. It's weird to change from restaurants and things I'm comfortable with to trying to convince someone to let me **** around in their laboratory with very little prior experience.

I'm not sure if he's moved up yet or not. Also not sure if Hitler & the AIDS or another similar group has been hanging out where I could find him. Everyone get Monster Hunter Generations and let's gather herbs together!

I had the recent experience of transitioning from a career field I was very familiar with to one that was completely different, and it was a pretty damn rough learning curve at first.

I feel I'm overdue for a trip down to Portland. Bellingham is like Portland lite, culture-wise, with so many similar attractive features but on a smaller scale. Still, nothing up here quite matches up to Powell's, Ground Kontrol arcade, and the food cart pods, for starters. I've been hanging in Seattle a lot, but I just want to spend another solid week in PDX.

And yeah, I've developed a much greater fondness for the herb. In the last two years, dispensaries have popped up like mushrooms. Speaking of which, the environment here has really encouraged my mycophilia as well.

The PNW is where it's at for all things mushroom! Not only does it have lots of different environments habitable for varieties of fungus, it's where the grandpappy of mycology Paul Stamets lives! His daughter actually chills with a group of Burners/hippies near Portland that I know. When you visit maybe tie in with this group http://wildmushrooms.org/ or find something similar in your area since there's a membership fee. I joined when I lived in the Brooklyn neighborhood in SE Portland and went to a meeting, it was super interesting. People sell knit hats and things they dyed with mushrooms plus you can try your hand at identifying samples and talk to some pros who have been studying mushrooms for decades. I love the adjectives that pop up in mushroom jargon and wish I could remember more of them. Like there's one for "smells like dirt" that sounds really cool.

Aw yeah I enjoyed drinking and playing old school Rampage 2-player at Ground Kontrol. They have a lot of top-down shooters that are great, and there was a Rock Band competition going on so that made it extra entertaining. Portland's also the only place I've ever left a black metal pre-show (DEATH STENCH was boring) and ended up at a nearby karaoke bar watching someone sing System of a Down until the headliner set up back at the venue.

I wasn't sure how to approach dispensaries as someone who smoked for about 5 years then mostly quit for 2 (during which it became legal), but decided to ease back in with hard candies. Plus I've been bumming around as a guest at other people's properties so I didn't want to cause any problems by smoking. Peach ones taste fantastic, and work well when I just want to zone out and get some chores done or play scary ass video games. Since I'm on a job hunt it's not a regular thing for me, then again I did one small dab last weekend. Melted my brain and 50% of my bones, and I must have drank about a gallon of water before bed. Being crossfaded is still my favorite state, but just thinking about it makes me thirsty. I don't have as much opportunity to balls out indulge which is a good thing.

What else. I started working for a beekeeper last week just to keep myself honest while I continue to fill out applications, and it's an interesting angle on the agriculture thing. First off, it's hard labor with the twist that you're farming insects and they're constantly trying to kill you. Then you realize you're pissing off more bees in 8 hours than you've ever seen before in your life. Finally, it's 100 degrees outside and your job is starting to resemble pure hell: constant buzzing and attacking of insects, the air is thin as smoke from burning burlap surrounds you while you're desperately prying and lifting boxes full of said insects, and your clothes are soaked with sweat under your bee suit. Sometimes your hands are covered in an extra rubber layer, doused in a nauseating chemical (treatment for mites), and your nose itches.

On top of everything else, that is the one thing that could break me. I've learned how to scratch my nose by violently smashing the crook of my arm into my face, but that introduces the risk that the swarm of bees desperately trying to invade my protective layers will go straight for my eyeballs. Still better than customer service.

I don't know why, but I just had the random urge to visit today, and when I came back I found this thread. I'm glad to hear that everyone has had a such an interesting adventures in their lives. I've met quite a few of you over the years, most notably Corrupt and Raptor, as well as kyubikirby and the Simi crew. Corrupt and I used to hang out constantly. Unfortunately we lost touch due to me going completely broke and having to move in with my in-laws up in central California back in 2009. I am actually transferring up to the Tacoma area in April of next year, and I would love to reconnect with Corrupt and catch up and meet up with anybody up in Washington who wants to meet up.

So where am I right now? Up in the north bay area. I've been in the Air Force for seven years as an aircraft hydraulic maintainer. I also run a mobile gaming website that has been surprisingly successful over the past five years. I've been happily married for 8 1/2 years with two daughters, one who will be six in January and one who is a year and a half old. I'm a hell of a lot more laid-back than I was back when I was a complete overbearing jackass as a super moderator, but I am still pretty damn socially awkward. I don't post on forms at all anymore; most of my free time that doesn't involve work and family is spent either at the gym, drinking too much wine with my wife or fixing one of my cars. Or playing phone games, of course

Where am I now? Pushing off bedtime while trying not to think about getting up at 5:30AM tomorrow. But, I bought a badass tumbler, so coffee will be a definite.

Haha, congrats on the success and wonderful family, Admiral Anthrax. I recently had to move back with family to take a better job, but I'm building up my credit to get a good place for my boyfriend, daughter and I. He's sick, unable to work and undiagnosed, but under a lot of testing.

Life is crazy. Do what you gotta do. And if pot's legal, do that too. If it's not, just don't tell. Same with shrooms. Lord, the earth creates mighty anxiety relieving medications.

Hey Slade. Everyone is unique, that's for sure. Everyone's flawed. You just have to know who to stay decently far away from, haha.

Ok. 2 jobs require sleep. G'night.
