Because the vgchat forum vets have moved on to the retirement home for all jaded message board posters - NeoGAF.

I'll try my best to post more again! :)

I just want the weekend to come back to me. I've been going to the farmers market every Saturday morning since it opened up a few weekends ago just so I can eat at the food trucks (little produce available early in the season). There's a girl who makes Korean dumplings and I have no regrets eating them for breakfast \:D/

I used to live pretty close to a farmer's market; so I take it you live in the midwest as well? Only went there a handful of times without knowing about haggling for a lower price. Should've been obvious considering 2 dollars an onion is a bit crazy  There certainly wasn't any korean food where I went.

What's mainly on my mind is picking a new line of work, or just moving; what I do now doesn't pay worth a damn and the backstabbings/two-faced gossipers drive me nuts at my current/past jobs. Sure, gossip is an issue everywhere; but it's gotten way out of hand to where people that should know not to believe it, do. People like, I don't know...the boss? the boss's boss? Pretty much why I joined this forum, to take my mind off it. Haven't been able to sleep wondering how I'll even be able to get a new job. I obliviously damaged my own credibility by trusting the wrong people. Biggest mistakes were thinking dating co-workers wouldn't keep ending the same way. As of now, it feels like all the bonds I had made in the past 4 years are all but disintegrated, so whatever I do next will be from square one. Lost all faith in my judgement with people, so thinking my next job or career pursuit will be computer driven: whether it's software or hardware. I suck at people...or people suck... I feel the first but will say the latter.

Didn't mean to imply they're only in the Midwest. Of the handful of people I've bumped into not from the midwest and those that have moved saying they missed going; the farmer's markets in the midwest seemed to have a lot more going on than most would find going to one somewhere else in the country. I personally have no idea; haven't lived in very many places to know.

They have them in the part of the northeast where I live, but no Koreans. It's usually just somebpeople selling backyard vegetables, eggs, and craftish things.

Was reeeally hoping this forum would be a tad bit more active.

Had a bit of a scare today with my mom. She had really bad pains in her abdominal region so my dad had to take her to the hospital while my brother and I took care of the two dogs. After 5 hours of little feedback from my dad, turns out it was just intestinal issues that meds can fix pretty easily. It's got me thinking a lot about reorganizing my parent's basement or something I know they need help with. In the past I've stayed away from such projects (they're both closet hoarders *PUN*, but more in the sense they're in denial). Whenever I'd grab something that CLEARLY hasn't been seen or thought of in 10 years it becomes a stressful game of "i gotta sort that later!". There's about 30 sort-that-later boxes just in the basement alone... It's hard trying to do anything for them, dad likes to be the fixer while my mom likes to be the planner. Dad doesn't like fixing his own disorganization while my mom likes to plan where she can fit more books and papers in the event we're audited for having existed 30 years ago... >_< proud to say I quit smoking for 4 days as much as I am ashamed to say I caved in today. Restart the counter. I'll completely quit eventually, but I've stopped announcing it to the world, I don't see how that helps. Thought the peer pressure would help, but it turns out most are more encouraging I continue the habit which is just stupid. It's bad enough continuing to do it; but that would also be something my mother would really appreciate.

Suppose that's everything on my end. tl:dr; mom scare, help them organize, addiction's a *****.
