Anyways, I love em'. Pretty good. Like someone said, you should scan these (well, the ones drawn on white paper, not looseleaf paper with the lines) and edit them on Photoshop. Add color, shading, etc. Would look really nice.

This picture isn't of the best quality. I couldn't scan it because of the size, so I had to take a picture with my friend's T-Mobile picture-thing. Right now, I'm wondering if our Dr. Corby (vice principal or something) would let my art teacher hang it up in the art display.

I've been trying my hand at American comics for the first time lately, and I have to say I come off as old-fashioned in art styles. I guess I can get better with time and practice. The image here is unfinished. I had to contrast- and level-adjust it because the scan simply wouldn't show up since I had sketched it very lightly. I will not edit the final picture. All I have is a preview.

I got that feeling too, but since this is my first attempt I can't pinpoint it.

The muscles on his left lower leg and right upper arm seem a bit off.

Then again, I cant draw for crap, and have done only the most basic anatomy studies, so its entirely possible that I have no idea what I'm talking about.

I think the problem with the top image isnt really annatomical, but the position hes drawn in. Seems really stiff and maniquin like. Otherwise a most excellent picture, especially for your first time in the field. Might I suggest wolverine as your next project? No reason in particular, hes just my favourite is all.

I'm trying my hand at Wolverine, too. I've been reading Tsutomo Nihei's BLAME! manga. so I decided to look up some of his other works. Coincidentally, he happened to write a story on Wolverine called "Snikt!" that reinforced my drive to draw him. Awesome.

On that Spidey picture: I'm sorry, but I've never seen Toby trying to make you look at his crotch more blatantly. Also, as was stated before, the pose seems so unnatural. My brother got a tablet, too, for the short time he thought he'd be using it non-stop. I've tried it out, and frankly, it frustrates me to no end. Even if it were a touch-screen to keep me from weirding myself out, all the picky differences with pencil pressure such... frankly, I don't know I'll ever be quite as satisfied with anything besides a good ol' pad of paper, which is why you may not see quite as much of my drawings as my real-life friends do.

Yeah, it's a little more sensitive than I'd like. I'm much better with paper, I think.

My friend told me a similar story. Apparently, he went to Burger King with some people and one of the TVs had a headline about Boehner. They all thought it was pronounced "boner" and they started to laugh. Then, they heard the reporter pronounce it "bayner," which when repeated loudly by them around 20 latino workers, sounds a hell of a lot like "beaner"
