So the second season of Code Geass will be released with all the other new animes in spring.
I'm really looking forwards to it since I liked the first season so much. I really don't know what to expect from it but I'll just wait and see if it stays gold. Also hoping for more pizza butt.

Wow, just seing the thread name almost made me orgasm, for a while I thought that there might not be a season two.

I thought the first season was amazing. The premise was ***ly, the action was awesome, and Zero, who is better then Kira from Death Note in every way, all come together, in what I think is the greatest anime of all time.

Code Geass being the greatest of all time is a stretch for me.
Top 10 perhaps but....meh.
Also if we're comparing anti-heroes then the gold would go to Light.

No way, they are alike in many ways, except for Zero actualy being a likable character.

After rewatching the first sesaon I've remembered that V.V. didn't show up until the last two episodes, it was also he who took Nunally away. But being in that ancient temple/cave at the end reminded me of that place where the emperor may be since that door must lead somewhere and who else would want to take Nanually?
I think the emperor is with V.V. if not a completely new character.

I was throughly confused at the episode since it had been so long since I had watched the end of Code Geass. However, they really pulled everything together in these two episodes as to why everyone is where they are(for the most part) and who did what.

TONS of Kallen fanservice.

I'm not sure if I would call it lazy or intuitive how the first episodes of each season paralleled each other.

I laughed along with LeLouch when he laughed at how the Governor died.

Did not see the Chinese Federation assisting with the whole plan though, and ****, that one chick is back...the grinder.

Third episode looks like it'll deal with Rolo and be back in the school atmosphere. Perhaps Rolo doesn't know LeLouch is Zero? Probably being controlled somehow. WHO KNOWS!

P.S On an unrelated note, it's nice to know I'll have a weekly anime to watch for the next couple months...it's been awhile :(

I'm guessing that Rolo's geass has the same affect as LeLouch's since he appeared in front of the Chinese Federation in that mass produced prototype based of Lancelot and just made it appear on his right eye. Could have easily commanded the pilot of the prototype to give it to him.

Also Suzaku was a dick. Even more so than LeLouch when he gave him up to the Emperor but that scene was ****ing badass. Sent chills down my spine.

Yeaaaaaah, first season Suzaku was a somewhat likeable character even though he was in direct conflict with LeLouch. But now, eh...just seems like a complete ****ing sellout. Though that may change once they develop the whole Knight of the Round thing.

Thought of it while rewatching episode 2. So if V.V. gave the Emperor his Geass then it'd make sense for V.V. to show up and tell Suzaku about the Geass right after Euphie's death. Emperor knew Suzaku would go ape **** and try all he could to kill Zero or at least bring him to the Emperor. And I heard that the leader of the Knights of the Round, Number 1, is a ranking which can be obtained as your status go up. And who ever is number 1 can choose an area within the empire that they rule over. In this case Suzaku wants Area 11.

Rolo's Geass allows him to stop time in a certain radius and do whatever the **** he wants without anybody realizing anything. He's also undercover with Villeta trying to see if LeLouch is Zero but I didn't expect Rolo and Lulu to have a direct conflict so suddenly with both of them knowing who they're fighting. It was only the last episode that Suzaku and LeLouch had direct conflict knowing that they were fighting each other (Mostly aimming that at Suzaku since he was the one who had only suspicion while Lulu knew all along.. Lulu's Geass isn't deactivated at all, it's just covered by a lens in his eye. And D'awwwwwwwwww Kallen was sad that it wasen't really LeLouch who did the announcement. Schniziel was on screen for like 8 seconds but it wasen't really enough. Anyone else think that by the end of the series LeLouch will have two permanent Geass'? Well if he uses it an enough amount of times but he's yet to use it on Rolo....or Nunnally for that matter but I'll bet it'd be something epic/important like how he did on Suzaku. Lei running and smacking down that Black Knights recruit kinda made me "wut" since the Chinese Federation was suppose to be behind Zero but maybe they had some kinda of political pressure....or their superior got to them. Ogi'll be free along with Todo.

Yeah, I like how they ended the episode with two like "lol omg wuts gonna happen now!?" moments. Though this episode wasn't as boring as I thought it would be either.

LeLouch had everything ****ing covered when it came to discovering how Rolo's Geass worked. Also Rolo's pretty stuck on finishing his mission objectives more than anything until LeLouch gave him his family speech. Rolo will become more useful in the future for LeLouch me thinks since now they have a man inside the operation's headquarters if Rolo fully stands by him. Using the Chinese Embassy was good too so an international incident wouldn't occur but Li has his **** together when he killed Gaohai. But there's more too him than that. Looks like he wants to liberate China since it's being oppressed by Britannia even if it means having to support The Order of The Black Knights in order to bring Britannia down.
Episode 5 is going to be fuuuuuuuuuuuuucking awkward since Suzaku's back in school.

Well Suzaku knows for sure that LeLouch has gained his memory back. So I'm curious as to why he would keep it a secret from the others...or why the **** he would even go back since he's a knight and all that too. Probably orders from the Emperor himself.

Using Nunnally right there was bad enough but now is LeLouch response to her like he remembers she's his sister than he's ****ed. I wonder if Nunnally knows about the Emperor but then how else would she have gained such a high position in politics. I enjoyed the fan service (especially one's with Anya in there. <3 her but she reminds me of Louise every time. :() but now I guess Villetta is going to be under LeLouch's orders since she dosen't want to lose her position of Baron; I thought at first they killed her but then that wouldn't be something Lulu would do. There's also the question of what Rolo's geass' weakness that he told Lelouch.

Yeah, the sheer amount of Fanservice this episode was overwhelming, along with the story at times. When everything gets all convoluted like that part with CC in the tomatoes. And yeah, I often find myself surprised by how I was actually surprised what has just happened with this show. And I find I really don't like Suzaku that much anymore. He's a complete pawn of the emperor.

****, this entire episode had me and chains. **** sucks that Nunally went with Suzaku and even shares Euphy's ideals but ****. Now LeLouch has to deal with her even though he can't do anything that goes against her. Kallen inside the new Guren is ****ing awesome. Gave me chills down my spine. Also Kaguya finally got some up close screen time and I Dawww'd when she called Zeroher husband~u. So now we know what Rolo's Geass' weakness is. Time Limit on his ***. Next episode it'll be that LeLouch throws away Zero to over look and rethink what he's FIGHTING FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR anymore if the reason why he's fighting (Nunnally) already made up her mind on how to achieve peace when her desires goes completely against his methods.
I'm looking forward to next week's episode.

Also C.C. talking to Marianne was new to me but I heard before that they spoke together. Marianne knows Zero is for Nunnally's sake but does she approve of LeLouch doing it? Also when he Geass'd everyone was very lul worthy. I almost cracked a tear when LeLouch was reminicing on what Suzaku told him. Ending scene with Zero on the Vincent was ****ing epic.

Also I haven't watched the picture drama but a torrent just came out on TT for it and I have it downloaded. Will watch next since I couldn't find any english subs until now.

Kinda of a surprising move on Zero's part. Him trying to take over the Chinese Federation doesn't seem like something he would do.

Great episode this week. Lots of comedy with subtle plot advancements throughout. Glad to see Cornelia return. Lelouch and Shirley finally becoming a couple made me d'awww, but then Orange shows up with a Geass Canceller and ****s everything up. Now Shirley remembers that Lelouch is Zero, and that Zero killed her father.

I was kind of disappointed that they didn't revisit what was happening between Nunally and Kallen, but... Oh well. They'll probably go back to that in the next episode.

Kallen beating the **** out of Suzaku was pretty funny. Anya's apparently been getting Geass'd by Charles. Everything seems to be going well for Zero, though, and then it turns out Charles is still alive (big shock there!) and comes to piss on everyone's parade. It didn't seem to reveal where he is, though, which has me curious, since he didn't return to the castle. Part of me thinks that Charles' entire broadcast could've been prerecorded to scare Lelouch into a new course of action, but that seems a bit far fetched... We'll see.

Oh, and it was good that someone FINALLY ****ing mentioned going to rescue Kallen, especially since Lelouch doesn't seem to give a **** anymore.

Ohgi's alive, too, but it doesn't really show how, nor does Viletta show up... In before a flashback in the next episode or two.

Lelouch completely trusting Suzaku now is a risky move. I know Suzaku cares about her but his resentment for Lelouch may be greater than that. Also going to meet up at the Kururugi Temple will put them back where they first met.

Also, The Black Knights suspicion on Zero for assaulting The Order may play a vital or no role at all. If they do react to it they may turn against him but it doesn't seem likely when compared to the chances of them fighting directly against Britannia for the liberation of their land being on a thin edge.

If you look at the how the world is divided, it looks like U.N.F. is out numbered. Schneizel said "You plan on playing with this fake theatre, Father?" so I'm guessing Schneizel thought Charles would be above all this but instead of starting the war, he provoked Zero into declaring it.

Everything that Lelouch has done to save Nunnally betrayed him in the end. Like destroying the Geass Order as retribution for Shirley which triggered Ashina's caution of Zero. During the last moments of his life he transmitted the recording of one of the Black Knights who participated in the massacre to Toudou which will cause the division and eventual betrayal of the Black Knights. The Geass casted on Guildford who was Cornelia's Knight that sacrificed his life in order to save who he believes was her, held Lelouch back from doing anything. And most importantly the Geass command he bestowed upon Suzaku to live on. It bent Suzaku's will which e he previously mentioned into firing Fleija which caused everything.

One of the greatest episodes in the second season thus far.

Yeaaaaaah, **** just got CURAZAY. Lots of **** went down this episode. Though the title and silence for the preview of the next episode pretty much make it seem like the end of zero. :/

Oh wow, so much **** was happening in this episode I had to re-watch it immediately. So Marianne took possession of Anya and restored C.C.'s memories. While they were talking Marianne said "What are you doing? Sealing yourself inside this type of place again?" I'm guessing C.C. deliberately lost her memories. Lelouch's mom also asked is C.C. was still on "their" side. I think he meant Charles since it seems like Marianne dosen't care much for Lelouch since C.C. asked if she came to help Lelouch. Marianne responding: "Do you think I'm that ideal of a mother" and later on asking C.C. if she should save Lelouch. Seems like the girls on going on their own to do something. By the preview they seem to be at the entrance of the Sword of Akasha.

Schneizel has made a coup d'etat to dethrone the Emperor and take his place. Suzaku saying he used FLEIA in order to gain more credibility in order to become Knight of One. Siding with Schneizel since he gives his word to give him the ranking. Suzaku asks for the order to assassinate the Emperor. Confronting him on Kaminejima but being stopped by Bismarck. Suzaku leaves seeking Lelouch saying "That is a Crucifix I must bear!". I'm guessing he knows that Lelouch is there to stop the Emperor but with a heavy price attached to it.

Lelouch seals himself and Charles in the Sword of Akasha. Saying they will suffer together in eternal repentance. By the look of the preview Lelouch finally gets the answers he seeks. Schneizel and the Black Knights are heading to Kaminejima and it seems Suzaku will be there with the new Lancelot Albion from what I've read on written previews.

Expected Lelouch to die in the end for a long time, but how they pulled it off was ****ing BRIX. Having Suzaku "die" earlier in the episode was a really good setup.
