I actually saw it in the shops today for £35 - aka ~$50 American. Gonna wait for a while before I get another DS and games.

The more time that goes into a game, the more it'll be expensive. PAL versions always seem to be pricer than North American games.
I got my game for $43 CDN, which is basically $35 US.
heh, 34.99 one of the highest prices I've seen for a DS game in ohio, too.
Yeah, I got mine for $43.99 CDN as well, which personally, I think is too expensive.

~$50-$65 here in Australia, which my shoddy calculations = around $37.50-$48.00 US. Not too bad I think, At least its not as bad as the PSP, around $85au for a game. A home console game cost around that.
Mario Kart with a DS is only $189au (~$137US), while the console alone is $177au (~$129US), not a bad deal I think.
