Say that VGChat was a VGCity. Where would you live? What type of house would you have? Who lives around you? What do you do at your home and who will visit you?

FIRST OFF.

This city is by the ocean surrounded by forest. It can be anything you want it to be, well, sorta, but by default, it's a port city with forest around it.

For me, I would live in a middle of nowhere in the outskirts of town in the middle of a forest.

My house is built in a modern style. It's somewhat big. Inside of it, it is colorful and all of the architecture is modern with two floors. I don't do much at home other than stay on the computer and read some stuff. I am aloof and I do not take part with all the events at the city.

I live in a house. It's exactly the house I live in now. Also, my "VGC City" is called "Simi Valley".

My friend "the judge" whom I like to call "Derick" lives about 3 streets down, and "darksong X" a bit further down...let's call him "joe".

Everyone else lives somewhere else. I "chat" with them on the "internet".

I live on the top floor of a hotel where I can look down on the busy people below. My friends are "Ant" and "Darksong X." I see them frequently. I exit my house by diving out the window and praying to God Almighty that a matress truck drivees beneath me when I land. So far I've gotten lucky.

I'd live near you, Xenos. Same type of house dealie.

And I'd have sex with you every night.

I'd live in a house on the beach. It would be Frank Wright style, with polished steel and leather everywhere. It would basically look like some sort of house that gets featured in Wired for being super modern.

On the weekends, I'd either go boating or ATV-ing in the woods. Assuming I can pry myself from the computer.

I'd get a fair number of visitors, I assume, since I'd have an arcade in the house, and would leave it open for parties. :cool:

I'd live in a tree. :D

My house would be several floors in height, and would feature a tasteful wooden interior with a lot of curves and large concave windows. It'd be set in a bed of sand, somewhere out of the way (say, on some grassy knoll nowhere in particular). I'd have some kind of rooftop patio and an "entertainment suite" with an LCD tv and the most killer soundsystem you've ever seen (heard?). Oh, and I'd have a 100 megabit connection, a nerdy luxury I've been denied for so long.

I'd also own a fair share of land, specifically a large mansion and a clock tower.

...And a lab beneath both.

As for activities, when I'm not with my friends, I'm the head of an evil company that makes zombies and other abominations of God. It's called Parasol inc.

...And I'm also a professional assassin with 7 different personalities of the people I've killed.

I'd live in the same house I live in now, it's jsut the right size of hosue for my taste. I twould be located deep within the forest where the only bit of light you get is from up above. There would be no roads connected to my hosue so I would have to travel by air, maybe a helicopter or something.

My house wouldn't be too big, just kind of cozy, not too far from the city but not too close to its hustle and bustle. I'd be in a comfortable spot that leaves me near the sea and the woods so I could visit both just to mellow out a bit. Guests are always welcome, and I myself would bike ride to the homes of Heather, Dan, Derick, Ant, and many others.

I'd live in a tower in the center of the volcano. And yes, there is a volcano, otherwise, what are you going to throw spammers in?

I wouldn't be with anyone, in fact, nobody would want to be with me anyways. Who would want to live on top of a volcano? Crazy Greek philosophers, that's who.

Aslo, there would be no right angles in my house. Anywhere.

In other words, just make 3/4 of the town Derick's house. And put it somewhere near the center.

Alright, later tonight / early tomorrow I'll put up a map of the terrain the city'll be on - Just something simple, it'll probably be in black and white - I'll just knock together an mspainted concept of the land and redo it in vibrant colour in Photoshop. It'll be divided into a 22 x 22 grid, and what you do is tell me where on the grid you want your house to be.

I'd live in an apartment in the busiest section of the city. The apartment'd be medium to small size though 'cause I prefer it that way. :) And I'd visit everyone!

I'm also the owner of that apartment.

I'm just going to continue to elaborate on the Hotel, Lab, Clocktower, and Mansion.

The mansion is in the forest, the clocktower is close to the center of the town, the Hotel is near the East entrance to the town, and the lab is connected at the basements of each one and extends towards eachother with 3 bases in the "basement" level of each structure. And I'll think of a better name than Parasol Inc.

Park, mall, and cafes with a revenue for the beach front? I can draw this all out by hand. 8-)

I dont want the whole beach, jsut a comfortable peice about 15 minutes away from any big developments/industry/commercial districts.

-Yes, I realize that its not scalled very well. Deal with it.
-All angle should be assumed to be 45 degrees, with the exceptions of furniture
-I forgot to label something 4 on the top floor, but didnt feel like redoing it all, so it goes from 3 to 5.
-All floors are light hardwood floors, with the exception of the bedroom and downstairs living room, which are carpeted
-The long flat side faces the beach

There. I haven't put a grid over it yet, as I want to know whether people are happy with this. The thin things are walls, the area inside is where the bulk of the city's gonna be set, there are roads towards the south, there's a beach, etcetera. I designed it so a few people could live outside the walls if they like.

Remember that this isn't how the final thing's gonna look, as is indicated by the quality.

The map I made should only take up a small portion of that in the center.

I'm going to do individual districts if enough people wind up doing this, though. And maybe even individual houses if someone helps me out with some 3D software.

Fine, then like I said, the map I POORLY EDITTED (MS Paint, you SOB) is Central VGCity. ie. it's my "district," if you want to call it that, and anyone else who wishes to live there. Note that the "forest" encompassing the mansion is actually VGCity's version Central Park, as in it doesn't actually connect to the forest around the place. I have no direct power outside that area, though like any government system, the political influence is wide-reaching.

If it's poorly edited, then why would people choose it over a well-edited one...?

I dont really care about the specific location, I was just getting at a spot that seemed distant but not remote, and was on a beach. If I need to be moved, its cool. Just keep me in a similar location.

I would have a 3 story house. 1 basement,1 main, and 1 up stairs. It would have a large loft between the main and second floors. A fire place wall of rock will run to the roof. I will have a great back yard running by the creek where the fish spawn. My deck will have a built in hot tub(I can't live without one anymore :(). Then their would be a 1 foot cliff with a walk down. Their would be wood pilled onto the side of it. And a huge fireplace is on thje far side. Inside my hiuse I will have one of the best kitchens known to man. And of course a ultra-tolet. Equipped with heated seat, TV, sound system. And a jet sprayer and heater to clean and spray me arse! Yeah I might add some more after school if I think of some.

Anyway, my house has a pretty basic design, and isn't very big. It's only one floor, with one bedroom, a kitchen, and a living room. If you've ever seen one of those little houses that accomodate one person up at colleges, then youknow wht I'm talking about.On the back deck, there's a hot tub that's about 10x10 feet. I have a 54 in. television, with my PS2 and Xbox 360 hooked up to it, and a futon sitting across from it.My compy is put in whatever space is left. The kitchen is overstocked with ramem and mac & cheese. There are many pizza boxes stacked on one another, because I'm too lazy to throw them out. The one room is used to stock my clothes, books, and all that jazz.

I wouldd live about 200 miles from VGCity because I don't really enjoy the ocean or forest. On top of a distant desert plateau, I'd have my compound of concrete and steel. It would be accessable primarily by air, with my runway being the only way in and out of the area. My compound would be home to myself and some of those whom I care for. We'd be filthy stinking rich, because, having an assortment of fighter jets to intercept cargo planes (bound to VGCity), we'd be stealing all of your stuff as we force them to either land or get shot down. Living it up in our osasis, no troubles, no work, and relative isolation would be the best.

In short, my comrades and I are pirates, and I love you.

I'd live in a moderately sized house just inside the outskirts of the city. Away from the bustle of the centre, but close enough not to be inconvenient. Nothing special, really, I don't like being extravagant.

People who live nearby may notice a van with CBC in big letters on the side occasionly pulling up outside my house. The CBC factory would be loacted quite some distance from the city and would be delivered by am unknown (unknown to all of you that is) Chicken.
CBC will hopefully become a popular drink for people in and around the city...

Oh and there needs to be a VGCity football field.
And the world game/soccer football not anything else.
