Hang on, what's that game?
One of my favorite systems. I find myself playing this machine even more than I do with my Ps2 or Gc. I love old school gaming and the NG had all of it, specially for those hardcore arcade gamers. It's too bad the system never had the success it deserved, if SNK had made it cheaper (one game could go costing up to 200 $ and the console up to 500), it would have sold way better. My own cousin gave it to me on my 9th birthday in 98, he had tons of games for it and just got tired of playing. I must have been the luckiest 9 year old boy that day. My favorite games are Metal Slug, Sengoku III, Metal Slug 3, Metal Slug 4, SNK V.S Capcom Chaos, KOF series, Real Bout Fatal Fury series and Samurai Showdown V.

I've never played the system before, but I have seen boxed games being sold for around 60-100 dollars a piece! I really do want one.
Sod's law, really. This system was technically far superior to the SNES, and the Atari Lynx was far superior to the Game Boy, but in both cases the Nintendo equivalents outstripped the competition.
Sad.
the neo AES would have sold a lot better had snk had a good distribution network....
the system was far superior to anything else on the market at the time, and animation wise it beats the pants of anything the x-box and ps2 can do within the realm of 2-d gaming
the downside for the machine was the overall cost of games though, it was relitivley cheap on the more sportier titles, yet when it came to the shmups and fighters thats when it got uberly costly (and the shmups and the fighting games were the defintive reason for a neo AES)
personally my fave games are ghost pilots, cyber-lip, king of fighters 96, nam-75 and metal slug :D
i also have the arcade version of the aes (the MVS) and a few MVS carts, which by the way are the cheaper option if you just want to play the games and are not bothered too much about the casing
Always wanted a Neo-Geo but I never got one.
I have an SC19 Candycab [ my Avitar look in my sig link ] at home with and MV1-F board in it and about 30 games that I play on a regular basis.

Yep I've been trying to get a neo geo for a while. I almost got a Neo Geo Mvs for $200 on ebay but I lost by just a few bucks.......
ahhhhhh...the days of Neo Geo. I've spent ages playing the fighting games. Too bad the cartridges were SO dang expensive! :(
I sold mine like 7 years ago. Worst. Move. Ever.
Not they're just way too much money. Oh well, Virtua Fighter 5 anyone? ;P
