Personally, I thought the Sega CD was a mega little add on. Sure not all of it's games were good but it did have some strong titles (Sonic CD, Shining Force CD, Lunar Series, Popful Mail & Afterburner 3). Just like the 32X, The Sega CD was too advanced for it's own time. People just weren't ready yet for the new CD based technology in video games back then.
