I haven't played the other games in the series in too much depth, so I'll probably pick this up.
This will sell well, I guarantee it. Its practically the perfect game for the PSP.
I wont go so far as to say that it will save the system, but it will definately help.

I have it. Got it in Japan..
Katamari is a game I've been interested in but unforutnately unable to play. I'm worried about this whole thing on changing the controls. This makes me worry that the controls on the PSP version will, for lack of better word, suck. What were the controls on the PS2 version like?
On the PS2, you controlled the prince and the direction of the katamari with the two analog sticks. Very simple. Very addicting.

umm. I just got this game and you need 2.60 ,so did they re-release it or something? It's some what easy to pass threw lvls except when you get stuck and people keep kicking you. but it's hard to control it, I'll be going strait then all of a suddon I'll be looking to the left and still rolling. I played we love katamari for ps2 and I can't tell which one I like better.
Well, for the Japanese version it's 2.00.
ok then 2.0 for jap 2.6 for english. I can't belive how many japanese games and movies are out for the psp it's awesome.
US version requires 2.50. :( :( :(
Apparently the controls are utterly different to the PS2 versions, but still work very well. The camera's been improved, too.

well the controls are weird,when using the analog stick I'll be going strait and then the prince goes another and I cant see what I'm running over. but when using the d-pad it's slow but I'v been moving threw lvl's like nothing.
