Shin-Ra got that right. Ozzy used to do the "peace" sign, and Dio certainly wasn't going to do it too, what with the feud between them and everything. It was something unique that he had, but obviously it's gone downhill now.
Now it just seems really stupid and vulgar. People at my school do it to me (since apparently I listen to "HARD ROCK", isn't that scary), and I just nod my head and wave them away. :(
