Well, I dont' see what is so terrible about chec. He's kind of annoying, but so are a lot of VGCers, but most of them are accepted.

As well, it is no "put-on". It is my genuine self. I despise the idea that I ought to dislike someone because everyone else has good reason to. I prefer to make decisions for myself. And this chec fellow seems quite detestable, based on what you all say of him, and I'd hate to throw my lot in with a guy like that. So I ask for someone to give me good reason to dislike so that I can legitimately express such distaste alongside all of you, rather than make myself look foolish for defending such a person.

EDIT - For the sake of saving what little face I can, I'll have you know that I did look up some of chec's posts, and he is overtly obnoxious. I've PM'd him and told him this is one battle he can't win, and he's best to clean it up before he gets anymore in the hole, and I'm curious how receptive he will be.

However, my point does stand. I've only agreed that he is obnoxious because I've seen it for myself, and the collective opinion of VGC had little bearing on my stance.

Click on Chec's name, and then find his posts. Most of them in the off topic section (inclusive of the 4 boards) either disagree with other members, flame other members, dispute the thread, flaunt superiority, whine about inequality of members due to post count, or otherwise generally act obnoxious.
