Erm, I sold mine when it became superfluous. I vaguely remember it being the older version, though.

i got the english mark 1 with av outs, the english mark 2 without av outs, the mark 4 without the parrelel port and different power on bios (mem card manager/light show) and the psone (small one :D)
I have the PSOne, mainly because our brother lent out the older model, with the memory card, and we haven't seen it since.
I think it loads a bit faster than the older model, but in return, it freezes in the most unexpected places! (I.E. FF8, Summoning Queazacotl sometimes feezes the battle with the music still playing and any timers still counting).
