alright well i was just wondering how it would work, like if i have a video clip and put it in itunes, will itunes just convert it to quicktime format and then all i have to do is drag it on my ipod? also lets say i have a dvd i bought and i want to put it on the ipod could i do that, i guess that would be like asking if itunes has its own dvd ripper installed, i doubt it, but could i rip dvds and put them on my ipod
Does the video format have to be Quicktime? If so, just get a QT encoder, I guess.
Christmas can't come soon enough.
Buy a Laptop.
Normal iPods I wasn't talking about, I'm talking about the 60GB overpriced video one. A 2 inch video screen isn't worth it.
whats nice about it is that it doesnt just have the ability to play moives, but its also thinner, has a bigger screen (2.5in.), longer battery life and it comes in black so im definately picking one up (in reference to the 30gb one)
I'm not even bothering with the iPod Movie at all. It's precisely the same as the normal iPod (according to Apple) but can play some movies, and it's the same price as the regular iPod. Besides, any "iPod" on the market today is just becoming an annoying trend. Case in point.
That IS the "normal iPod" now. Now they all have colour screens, and the only decently-sized one you can get is the video-capable one. They've phased out the last line.
My only qualm with the iPods, is the fact that they calm the battery will last (I have an iPod Mini) up to, if not more then, ten hours. However, what they failed to mention was, that it will only last four hours if you use the touch-pad and select your songs rather then just letting it shuffle through all of them by itself, not to mention how much battery the light uses itself. I've tested this as well, so it's true, and it ****es me off.
I'm actually thinking about selling my iPod for a decent sized, battery-powered mp3 player. Charging the iPod is what I hate the most, because if it runs out and I'm out riding my bike or something, what am I supposed to do now?
Oh, and my school is starting to talk about completely banning iPods, because they are afraid kids are going to bring porn in on the video ones. How little of a life do you have to have when you need to bring porn into school?
its true that the ipod is a trend, i mean like the nano is a trend straight up, but for a portable device that plays music, moives and holds pictures, its not to bad, in price and the total set up of the system, i mean id probably rather have something like this http://www.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=210&subcategory=211&product=12985, but thats another 100 bux i'd have to spend, im just gonna get the ipod at best buy when they get it, and if i dont like it i can always just take it back and save up some more $ for the creative zen vision
