That's right. Legendary Wings is one of my favorite NES flying games. If I thought about them enough I would probably come to the conclusion that it is.

This game had some amazing creatures. It was the only game that I ever gave away, I think. That was so many years ago. I'm looking forward to getting it again when I see it. I never beat it. There was some guy in there that I could never take down.

Many complain that this game is too difficult, but I found it relatively easy, and I remember I defeated it the day I received it. I thought it was fun. Too bad it doesn't have a multiplayer.

Give me the frog and nobody gets hurt! Those Lizard and Crab-like creatures are totally awesome. I still have not beaten this game. Believe it or not, the one time I got super far was the one time it froze on me, and I rarely have NES games freeze on me. I want to save my frog. :bowser:

So underrated. When I initially started playing it, I didn't think much of it, but after progressing just a little, I adored it. One of my favorite games, undeniably. In fact, I should edit my favorite game list and put this in there, but perhaps I'll wait until I defeat it.

Here is a game that I thought was tremendously difficult. I still think it is one of the top 10 most difficult games I have triumphed over for the NES.

Oh yeah. Rare was great, even back in the NES days. It is a shame that the Cube didn't get much of them, except for the wonderfully created Star Fox Adventures. The system would have been much better with them around, in my personal opinion.

I used to love the movies this game was based on. Hilary Swank in the fourth installment was teh sweetness. I fell for her right then and there, while she was trying to save that birdy. She's my favorite actress today. Her performance in Million Dollar Baby was superb.

I got this game recently and conquered it. Each level was filled with NES quality kiddy-fascination and the bosses all had different, interesting approaches when it came to flight battles.

The infamous "DON'T KNOCK" sign made its first (and only) appearance in this side-scrolling comic book superhero inspired game.
Which brings up a very interesting question...
Why is there a sign that reads "DON'T KNOCK" standing in the middle of nowhere?
I can understand if it were a door or a wall, but it is just on a sign.
I have two theories on this...
1. The sign was originally positioned near a door or a wall (note the arrow) to warn anyone not to "knock" on it for the possibility of disturbing something, but eventually got moved at the descretion of the sign owner (or as a cruel joke).
2. The region in this game was overrun with vandals going around "knocking" innocent signs all over the place. This prompted the owner of the sign to label the sign "DON'T KNOCK" as a warning to any potential future "sign knockers".
As of right now, the mystery of the "DON'T KNOCK" sign carries on.
