I just got The Suffering Ties That Bind and while I'm playing it a message pops up that says 'The Disc You are using my be dirty or damaged'. The only problem is the game is brand new. First time its been played and its messing up. So is there a problem with Midways disc or is my copy just messed up?
If your Xbox is more than a year-and-a-half old, then it's just a bad drive. Happens to my boxes. I have one Xbox to play Darkwatch on and another to play Halo.
One of them refuses to play Darkwatch.
It's out of your control unless you want to get a new drive.
well ive known of 2 or 3 people bring copys back that were messed up of that game. Itc could also be your xbox
I heard Microsoft is fixing this problem for free, so you may want to take a look around.
And believe me. It's the drive and not the game. I have two boxes, both with bad drives.
I've had my box 4 2 & 1/2 years now and the only problem I've had is playing Fable & after about 6 nonstopt hours, it lags a little.
