Look at those graphics! They're awsome! I wonder when it's coming out, because I DEFENITLY have to get it!
...sonic got even MORE skinny...anyways, I think it'll be nothing more than the Sonic for the Dreamcast...fun for about 2 hours...then lame.

AT LEAST a year is what I'm thinking, maybe more or less.
But, they realeased a video showing the game in an very early stage on IGN and other places. The way it is now, it could turn out pretty good, but we won't know for sure.
Sadly...It's only coming out for the PS3 and Cockbox360. And the first next-gen console I plan on buying is the revolution, hopefully they will port it over. Otherwise I'm screwed...for awhile anyways before I can buy a PS3
In any case, the graphics are purtty and I have a feeling that it will be a fantastic game. But that's just the Sonic fanboy in me...
I just found ANOTHER Sonic game, and it's called "Sonic Racers". It seems to be an Air Board (like snow boarding but no snow) racing game. I checked it out at sega.com . The video was CRAZY! You couldn't tell what-from-what! I'm gonna have to get it!
That's also relatively old news. I heard about it from the thread talking about what happened to Sonic's old voice actor (who wasn't that bad in my opinion).
I'm just hoping that either of these games help restore the core of what Sonic was: speed.

That hasn't been decided yet. Sure, some people can't stand the voice acting, but to tell you the truth, it wasn't so bad in Sonic Adventure 2. Heroes... well...
Something new in this game is going to make it a bit more exiting, I can feel it. This is just Beta though, so who knows what the game could look like later?
I thought the storyline and the voice acting in Sonic Adventure 2 was terrible, I mean, who was playing Rogue? Its kind of sad they wont be putting it on the Revolution, I guess they still havent realized how biased XBox and sometimes PS2 users are...
I bet if they just stuck an "M" label on that game it would sell.
Why would someone say that it isnt going to be on the Revolution, though?

Im not a big fan of 3d sonic games. Sonic Adventure being the worst. I'll probobly still end up buying this new game eventually, it doesn't look to bad. Right now im looking foward to [url=http://www.sega.com/games/game_temp.php?game=sonicrush]sonic rush[/url] for the DS.

I think his name was Silver, actually. My cousin (hardcore Sonic fan) has been obsessing about this game for ages. He told me the name of that hedgehog a few weeks ago, but I don't really remember it. I'm pretty sure it was Silver. I'm certain it was a very boring, generic name, as are almost all the Sonic character names.
I have my doubts. But I'll probably try to play it somehow, if I even end up owning a system that supports it. From the trailer, it looks like the same gamestyle introduced in Sonic Adventure and perfected in Sonic Adventure 2; if they can get around the usual problems (bad camera, total wtf-why'd-I-fly-off-that-ledge mechanics), it could be quite good.

Yeah, after checking that page, that glowing hedgehog would be Silver. He's from some kingdom in the future, and he's come back in time because of something regarding Sonic.
