so, wisconsin was hit by a really bad blizzard today. it's been the worst snowstorm i've ever seen, and it's so cool. they actually closed the university for the first time ever. we got about 14 inches, and there were winds around 50 mph most the day. here are random pictures my friends and i took venturing out to the union and whatnot. i was miserable in nearly every picture.

I have 14 inches of snow where I am, I got a delay and that's it.
i think the reason why the university (and everything else) closed down was because around 9am, snow was falling at the rate of 3 inches per hour. combined with the wind, it was impossible to keep the roads clear.
Man, it was weak on this side of the state. Disappointing!

Neat pictures! I have yet to see snow in person, much less a blizzard. If I were in your shoes, I would have freaked out, ran outside and played in the snow until I went numb, looking like an idiot in the process.
Pff, I live in Canada. That blizzard would have been like spring to us.
Heh, nothing compared to Colorado. That wouldn't merit a delay or anything. =/ Our most memorable blizzard was about three feet. Everywhere. School was closed for a week.
But, I also don't know how much snow Wisconsin gets. I can imagine it'd be pretty cool for a state that doesn't get much. My cousin in Texas got about a half inch, and everyone was ecstatic.
..Gone by the end of the day of course.
well, it wasn't the amount of snow that startled people because usually in the winter in green bay we have like two feet on the ground (it just doesn't all fall at once). this storm had really strong winds which caused huge snow drifts. the plows couldn't keep up with keeping the streets clear and whatnot.
most of our snow falls are usually around 5 or 6".
Nice name :cool2: New York (at least, where I live) barely got any snow this year, which was sad. A good snowstorm is almost as good as getting a strong thunderstorm. Nice pictures, though.

yeah, it's victorian style with a wrap around porch and lots of stained glass windows. right now it's white and green, but this summer my parents are painting it teal, dark blue, and pink for a more victorian look.

chemistry is so much more than high school chemistry. high school chemistry introduces like one weeks worth of college chemistry. it's so fascinating.
I really enjoyed Biology. It was very awesome. I've done a bit of chemistry (substitute in bio for 2 weeks). It just really didn't appeal to me.

Missing one major detail. You're looking into the camera, big no for myspace. :( The camera's not being held at a funny angle and the room is a too brightly lit, you should barely be able to see your face. But other than that, you'd blend right in.
