USA Qualifies for World Cup

it was a good game, USA 2 Mexico 0. It SHOULD have been 4-0, how people can screw up a 1 v 1 with the keeper is beyond me, but we outplayed them bad. For those who care

yay, no more Wales!

I don't really care, but I've been in front of the tv for a few days so I can recite all the news from memory by this stage.

WE out played MEXICO?

Holy crap, we must have kicked it up a notch since I last saw the American team.

We're playing the 5th-placed South American team for qualification in November, as per usual. Bloody CONCACAF qualification routes are way too soft compared to that.

*mutter mutter bloody FIFA*

Oh well, things should get a bit fairer once we formally join the Asian federation and stop languishing in Oceania... which will mean a fair qualification route instead of "destroy all the Island nations then get beaten by a South American side you've had to face, having no decent match experience".
