I never really thought of the Saturn as much of a failure.
Yea, it wasn't really a failure. It just never stood the chance it needed against the PSX, which it had the potential to stand-up to. But, it greatly lacked consumer response. That's why they were practically shelfing them out to fans [of the console] with three (3) free games, towards the end of it's reign. Merely a missed opportunity..
I always wanted to get a Saturn.. When the PS came out, My cousin purchased one and I was going to purchase a Saturn over an N64, but I myself ended up purchasing a Playstation. Was the Saturn awesome good?
i have a few saturn games in my cd wallet, these are titles i backed up to actually play (it's cool to make back ups in most cases as long as you have the originals :D) as i dont want the originals to get scratched (they are ina big box in the attic, and theres no way im running up and down to get a game i may only play for a few mins)
