Does anyone know how to find the character (e.g.Kitty) quickly for a delivery/pick up if the sign says "I'm not in right now"?
If a towns-animal is away from their house, that only means that they have left for a walk and can be found in another acre. You can either do something else until they come back or try and find them. I'll advise you that a common place they visit on walks is the town's foutain, so it might help to look there.
look around other townanimals' houses, usually they're found chatting away there.
They also might be around a river in your town.
