Did this game come with the soundtrack in Japan? This game was very creepy. A huge chunk of it was in a shopping mall and the bakery looked amazing. I used to have a Silent Hill forum and I included a section for recipes.
The monsters were very obscure in this game and when Heather was looking in this bath the whole building went rusty and disgusting. It's a shame you don't get such ammo for the automatic weapons but that's not what this game was about.
Vincent, Douglas and Claudia were strange supporting characters. The guy who did the voice of Douglas died though.

In my opinion, this game paled in comparison to the first two. It was just more of the same, and didn't scare me like its predecessors. SH4 is out now, but I don't any incentive to play it.

I never played SH3 but I do have SH2 and I love it. I still want to beat the game. but Im so .... scared to play it all the time.
The making of Silent Hill 2 is an interesting watch.
