Does anyone know a great place to download music?
You can usually legally download sample clips, songs, or even sometimes full length albums or demos from band websites. I've found quite a few which I've listed [url=http://vgchat.com/showthread.php?p=107482#post107482]here[/url] for easy reference.
Illegal downloading? I don't use anything other than AIM and (very rarely) BitTorrent. I much prefer buying albums over downloading, unless the album's too hard to find, expensive, or foreign.
Torrents are your best bet. If you need any good sites, just PM me.
SoulSeek works okay for fairly non-mainstream full albums.
