I really hate the fact that EA took over the NFL license. Madden, although a very good game was gettin stiff competition from 2K5 last year. As a matter of fact I didn't even buy madden until a few months ago. Madden is fun but the computer always ends up cheatin. Even when I'm playin someone else. It's been in the Madden franchise for years.
As for Madden himself, he hasn't had a clue about football since he coached. If I hear him make one more unbelievably obvious statement, I'm gonna throw something at the TV. So now, I have to listen to him on almost every broadcast, play his game, and watch him carve up a 7 legged turkey on Thanksgiving. It's like the 4th circle of hell. What's next, him making a coaching comeback ala Joe Gibbs?
Uhh I think you can turn the announcer off, so Madden will stop talking. Does that make the game better? :)

I agree. I think Madden 05 is boring. ESPN NFL 2K5 is by far much better. The gameplay is more in depth and more interesting. Madden's players look to muscular. Wile ESPN's where regular looking. I really dont see whats so great about Madden 05. I hate it with a passion. ESPN NFL 2K5, I can pick up any day and play easily. I love ESPN. EA are just *** clowns, because they think they can buy out everything.
Im just discusted with EA for buying the rights to NFL for over like 15 or so years, that leaves time to become a game developer, then make an NFL franchise. If EA comes with an offer, I'll say "screw you man, I aint allowing to take a chance to make money away from me."

No, I believe its too over rated in my opinion. ESPN NFL was under rated in my opinion. For 20 dollars I rather have 2K5, instead of buying from EA. Cheap bastards them EA are.

I think John Madden overall is a goose. He is the Dick Vaitale of college football. While Madden the game itself is very popular and very fun to play with freinds and online. I hope it stays alive because I enjoy seeing whos gonna be on the next cover and possibly have the Madden curse.
Madden is overated. He gets on my nerves. I bought 2k5 last year just cause the madden games are overpriced. Madden is a fun game but I don't play it unless I am playing with friends. Playing against the computer is booring.

I dont think so. Madden is not the Only GOOD football game out there. NFL 2K5 had just more depth to its gameplay, and it was more fun to play against the Computer then On madden.
Also whats the point in having only one new NFL game coming out every year until the next ten years (or so) if we people want more choice. I myself prefer more choices then just one.
Madden I still think is overated. I mean he was a football coach, just a random football coach in the NFL, who later on in his life got a gaming deal to have his name on a game... What the ****. Why not other famouse coach's. Also Madden is now one of them sports castors, or booth people who discuss the game wile is going on. Who in that way diserves his own game? you tell me.

Also NFL 2K5 has more depth. I mean really the only difference about Madden and 2k5 is that Madden has the ability to make your own fan.. wow thats fun, I think Ill dish out 50 bucks just to do one thing that another game wont have. Yeah 50 vs 20, Ill think Ill go with the 20 dollar price tag... ;)
