so i downloaded all the iso's, in order 2 install FC4, then i burned them seperately onto a cds but they would not work for some reason, the computer just boots right to windows, i used the 64-bit cpu version so that was not the problem, i just dont know what to do
I didnt even know that FC4 was out yet.
Last time I had something like that happen it was with Mandrake 10.1, all I had to do was reburn the ISO and enter into the BIOS in the beginning of startup, switch the first startup device to the CD/DVD drive that has the first disk in it, save and quit the BIOS, reboot, and Voila! You have startup via the CDs.
Make sure you burned them as a ISO disc and not just burned the ISO on a data disc. Like he said, change your boot device to CDROM in your BIOS.
yeah well im an idiot, thats what i did i burned it as a data cd instead of an iso, but i did find a pretty decent cd burning program thats free http://www.cdburnerxp.se/index.php
