In Pokemon Gold/Silver I am having trouble catching Remoraid. Does anyone know were Remoraid is located? I know it cannot be caught on Crystal version.

You give your phone number to the man on the norhter part of the "lake" on route... 144? (This is the route right after the rocket hideout and right before the ice cave leading to the final Johto town with the dragon's den.) He will call you when there is an outbreak of them.
I hope this isn't just completely wrong.
That is one way of doing it. Or you could just fish for a real long time. Remoraid is rare so it may take a while to catch him.
