well i don't know any good ones for the PS2 unless you count cellshaded then it would be DBZ. But if your looking for a good 2d game then mortal kombat trilogy for the PS1 is my favorite.
Guilty Gear Asuka, Marvel vs. Capcom 2, Marvel vs. SNK, KoF 2002 & 2003, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, hmm...
