Tactics. I like just about all of the FF spinoffs more than anything in the main series.
I like FFVIII
FFV was pretty fun.
Final Fantasy VII was the best with Final Fantasy III coming in a really close second.
So I'm not alone when I say FFVII was the best FF ever made:D
FFVIII and FF IX was also entretaining in their own ways
Final Fantasy X is my favorite RPG, followed by Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy VII. I started liking the series when Tesuya Nomura jumped on board, although I didn't know about him until Kingdom Hearts was announced.
My top two:
1) Final Fantasy VI
- This used to be my favorite game for many, many years. It's the first RPG I had ever played, and it's vastness amazed me. It had so many good characters, each with their own little backstory and conflicts. Plus, one of the best villains ever in my opinion.
2) Final Fantasy IV
- Played this game for nearly 2 years straight, over and over, due to it being the only game I had at the time that I enjoyed. I just love everything about it, and like FFVI, it had great characters and a very memorable "villain" in Golbez.
Moved to RPG board. Oh, and FFVI/III is the best.
i like teh 10th finale fantacy. that was a long game, which was very cool.
Either 5 or Tactics. Probably 5.

I'll give the oh so almost cliche answer.
FFVII, FFIII, and FFIX in that order.
I like all the others (with the exception[sc] of X2 and the 'Cube one.... yes, that horrible one) as well.
Final Fantasy VII was, is, and forever shall be the greatest Final Fantasy, RPG, and video game ever made.
Final Fantasy Tactics is a distant second.

Final Fantasy VIII has always been my favourite, closely followed by VII, then X. I've played most of Tactics (PS), and I do say that I loved it.
I thought that IX was a great game--not too many people appreciated it that much unlike it's PS cousins, FFVII and FFVIII. FFVI was probably the second.
The best Final Fantasies are as follows:
Final Fantasy IV (SNES)
Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
Final Fantasy III (NES)
Those 3 are all amazing games, and completely blow the PS final fantasies out of the water.

FFVIII would have to be my favorite. Then I'd say IV is second, then IX is third.
I love the fact that no one has DARED say FFXI yet.

Final Fantasy VIII Is my fav as well... It changed my life =) And I love the storyline and gameplay! =)
