...Everytime I open my internet now, it goes to a privacy warning, telling me to download a certain program. No matter what I change the homepage to, it won't go away. Every time IE opens, it shows up, anyone know how to fix this?

My mother seems to have the same problem when she uses the internet because she still wont use Firefox, I fixed it once for like 2 weeks but it showed up again and now I cant get it to go.
Yeah, well that's the problem. Firefox won't ever work. Whenever I type an address I get "whatever.com can not be found. Please try again"

Standard spyware blurb. They're trying to get you to download their "antivirus/security" software. It's a script that simply diagnoses your computer in a few different areas (I've forgotten which language these things are written in) and puts it into a little frightening framework to convince you to download even more ****. If you were using a proxy server in India, it'd say "they know you are from India". It's as simple as that. It is indeed spyware.

If there's one program most likely to get rid of this browser hijack, this definitely this program and I'm almost certain I can identify what you should remove with that program.

Ok, thanks guys. It's finally fixed, my homepage being blank, and that crap that started it deleted. I've deleted a crapload of spyware and found and deleted 2 viruses, fixing my computer a lot. :cool:
Yeah and after you do that run Ad-aware and Spybot S & D if you haven't already. Seem to have forgot to put that in there.
