- Backward compatible - plays both GameCube games and its own standard, double-layered DVD disks
- Wireless internet out of the box
- Quick start-up time and quiet, low-power operation
- Wireless controllers (according to IGN)

Might as well keep all the confirmed Revolution stuff in here.
Oh, one more comment: Just because the codename for Nintendo's next gen is "Revolution," it won't necessarily be revolutionary. The Gamecube's codename was "Dolphin," but that little purple box certainly isn't an intelligent aquatic lifeform.
Sounds pretty sweet. Thanks for the info :D
Interesting. Hopes are high for E3.
nintendo said in an interview in nintendopower that the revolution will alow you to play like you never have before (total paraphrase) now they are going back on their word and givivg us the same as sony and microsoft. wtf? why call it the revolution, why not nintendo conformity. WTF?
I'm really pumped about it... I really hope they make an online super smash bros melee and mario karts game.
ok so here's a link i found interesting. If this is true i really dont know what to think.

I wouldn't bet on it... but I think Nintendo has already said that the touch-screen controller rumour was false.
ok good, i dont know how well that would have worked out
For Christ's sake, no one even understand what they mean by "revolution". It's not going to be particularly amazing to us, the hardcore gamer. It wil just be a new way to play games. The revolution itself will be in the amount of people ,playing games. It's going to have an extremely simple and intuitive interface, so simple that just anyone can play, making gaming truly mainstream. THAT'S the revolution, got it?
k got it, and might i add, whoa! its just an article i found that was pretty new, like 3 days old and i thought id post it. juheez
That article sucks. It was poorly written. I wouldn't trust anything in it (especially since most of that was already proven wrong).
i dunno if its of any value or interest to anyone, but i stumbled across a couple of concept logos for the revlution. i'am not sure if they're real or fake, they're just there.
here's the link guys...

???
I dont see how those controllers would work. How would you hold them?
nice pictures mack, pal.
those controlers would be really wierd to use. they're so odd.
You'd hold one in each hand. How the hell are they hard to use?

I dont see how you would be able to grip onto them.
I don't see how those could be the controllers... the rev is backwards compatible with the gamecube so the controller has to at least be somewhat similar... unless you can just plug in an ordinary GC controller into the rev... that would be kinda cool... but annoying.
If they make it a two hand thing then I will never respect nintendo again.
