Help me, SmileyCentral won't uninstall. It says it's in use while it's not. Please help, I've tried about everything I know.
It's spyware. It's not designed to be uninstalled.
Restart in safe mode (I forgot how) and uninstall it. I think.
Now there's a smile that isn't to be forgotten.

It doesn't work anymore because I deleted the file, but the desktop icon WON'T delete. It comes up as "access: Denied. Could not delete because the file may be in use."
Then read that guide I posted and it will tell you how to delete it. *sigh* It will tell you what you need to do.
Yeah, but how do I get HJT?
And I'm using Windows 2000 and Firefox.

What does the stuff in red mean when I pasted my log?
My question to you, is why you even have smiley central.
It means it's spyware/virii/malware/etc.
My cousin clicked it and I smacked her in the face for doing so.
Ugh, that was such a waste. It's all gone from my computer, but the ICON won't go away. The only trace of it left is the icon.
If it bothers you that the icon is on your desktop just hide it under your documents or something.

Here is something I use for that sort of thing.
It's basically what Recycle bin or Shift+Delete can't do. It'll usually delete anything as long as it is not a folder. Give it a shot.
Its called spyware. Don't install it.
You're stupid.
k, I tried opening up the icon, there's no path (I deleted it) so it has no effect on my computer. The only thing still left is the icon, which is unusable.
Boot in safe mode (F9 on system boot) and delete it.
It is F8.
Oh, and I tried it. Won't delete.
This should do it if you "buy" the full version. http://www.jrtwine.com/Products/DelFXPFiles/
Select the icon to delete on reboot.
Well I'm sorry to say this, but you need something to protect you from accidents of that such. Don't worry about money there are some good free ones out there such as Mircosofts new anti-spyware its free and awsome, also there is Ad-aware which is a nice free remover of the spyware. So go to google and look them up there very nice. That or get spy-sweeper or Zone alarm. DO NOT get Norton its good but if you have a network or go to lots of Lan's it's very very annoying. :)
I obviously don't need this anymore.
You obviously didn't make it clear dumbass.
Maybe the month-old bump made it clear? :-*
