I was in my local EB and saw that the DS is now $99.99. To me, that was hella fast of them to lower the price. Just thought I'd share that.
Are you sure it wasnt used?

Dude it's what? It's
Man where I live, it costs $150.
Yeah, on a sign it said "DS now $99.99!"
Well, it's about time! Nintendo must have found most were waiting untill the price dropped. Sweet! Now I'm not gonna be the only kid on my street to have it!! And now, the PSP vs. DS war shall TRULY commence!! *rubs hands evily*
Uhh, it's still the same price on the website, so I'm guessing you were looking at a used copy. It's still $199.99 in stores here.
Thats probably if you trade in something like a gba and some games or somethng.
It's really hard to believe that nintendo would drop it's price so well, after it's been doing exelent alreadt with a 150$ price tag. I bought it the day it came out (waiting in line at best buy for 3 hours) and it was worth everypenny. I see no reason to drop the price on this system. Now the psp on the otherhand could use a price drop (even though I already bought one) because of it's crappy sales

All of the links above show the DS to be $150 as it has always been. I boubt the DS dropping their price this fast.
You may have seen the same thing I did. A week before the DS was said to be released I walked by a store and there was a sign that read "DS now sold here!" So I walked in the store to check on it (I didn't have the money, but I just had to see) and as I half way expected, someone that worked at the store was an idiot and put the sign out to early.[/COLOR]
Yup, no price drop yet. What you probably say was a deal. For example you can trade in three GBA games and a GBA to get the DS for around fifty or so bucks. Don't know what that specific deal would be though.
Hm... if I saw that deal, it would be very tempting. But I am not sure if I would want to engage.
yeah, but there is a cheeper way to get past deals like that. buying around 3 gba pre-owned, super old games is definitely going to be under a tenner, so if you just trade those in, instead of the super-cool new ones, it turns out 2 be a bargain.
there is no way that teh ds could have had a pricedrop that big in so little time. it would have been cool though.

i think u are confused, the DS came out with a $150 price tag
