I know that at least a couple of you use twitter, so I've taken the liberty of creating [url=http://twitter.com/vgchatofficial]an official twitter account[/url] for VGC. Primarily, it'll serve as a place to post quick updates on the handover situation over the next short while, but I'm also planning on using it for other things such as announcing people's donations, providing maintenance updates and generally keeping people informed as to the state of the site.

On that note, twitter is far more useful than people give it credit for, and everyone reading this thread should at least give it a shot. Be aware that it is a sort of esoteric thing, though; I don't know anyone who didn't take less then a few weeks to "get" it.
i've seen a lot of people ***** that it's just the status update feature from facebook but SURPRISE SURPRISE they're also typically the self-loving morons who love to share with everyone that they're eating toast or going to see a horrible indie band
