Jumping? Guild Wars? That would add a lot of possabilities, but I'm doubtful. Personally, I'd just be happy to have another storyline to run through with little difference in the combat engine.
I believe Guild Wars 2 will have dragons in store for you sir. Make your time.
I'd have to agree with you however, I wouldn't mind it being a true sequel. But the indications are that they want to take this to a more open world format. They did make mention of heavy instancing still - could be purely dungeons/mission areas they are talking about.
Perhaps a blend of old school Guild Wars and World of Warcraft's open world format. Although not so much WoW is fine by me.
