personally i think they were with only one complaint no pikmin 3
Considering how little they had to show last year pretty much anything would've been better.
I loved last years brilliant comment of 'Nintendo not announcing games for hardcore gamers? Hellooooo... Animal Crossing.' I'm actually looking forward to the games announced this year, so that's the biggest difference between this year and last year for me. Still, the Wii is one of my most disappointing purchases as far as good games go - but that's a story for another day.
They could have just said they had new Mario, Metroid, and Golden Sun games in development without showing those trailers, and they would have had more hardcore content in their conference than last year's.
