Jesse, Poco is right, the virtual boy board needs to go.
If people are really sick of scrolling past all the boards, then perhaps Jesse should consider making a crapload of subsections on the front page, then you can just minimise them using the double arrows.
(Don't know if the minimising is permanent, if not also consider something which saves minimise status.)
