More drawings...

This first one's got a topless lady, don't know if thats allowed or not. But you are warned:

Next we have this lovely rat, who if it weren't for the title in the corner, could very well not be Shortsnout. At least, my own drawing of him, for this pending comic I've been putting off doing for, oh, about a year now:

I like to draw masks when I'm bored. Here's a few:

Next we have a few select drawings of my own character, maraied. This first one was originally just a design for a crown, for the said comic - but then I gave her a face and a body and filled it in with color:
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa150/kendra_warrior_babe/mary3.jpg

I am rather disappointed with this next one of her. Its my favorite, because I wanted to draw her in something colorful and pretty, but I honestly could not say what the hell I was thinking when I drew her hand and violin there:
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa150/kendra_warrior_babe/mary2.jpg

And here's a more recent one of her, in a rather scandalous outfit:

Moving on, here's a character of mine I cut from the comic story, but still use in my rpgs now and then:

I wanted to draw some trees how I think Mr. Edward Gorey would. So here we go:

Here's some fairy wings I drew on a train last year:
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa150/kendra_warrior_babe/fairy2.jpg

Here's a fairy:

Here's a shot of a fairy ring:

A sexy eye:

Edgar Allan Poe:

A broken heart, a design for an "anti-valentine's" card I drew quite a while back:
http://i197.photobucket.com/albums/aa150/kendra_warrior_babe/brokenheart.jpg

And finally we have my first ever rpg character, Adelyne:

'das all, for now.

Not bad.

The mermaid's HOT. The body is great and the shading is all right. The face looks kinda masculine and ugly though. But I dunno, maybe that's what you were going for.

The rat's cool. I like him.

The masks are cool, but they're nothing special. You should do some crazier and more original designs.

The "Maraied" ones are great. The one with the violin is probably the best drawing I've seen from you.

Lily is cool and weird.

The trees are really plain and boring. But maybe that's Edward Gorey's style, I dunno.

The fairy wings are looking good. I thought it was a butterfly at first.

The fairy's nice, but the drawing seems a bit messy and lacks detail.

The eye is great. I wonder what it would look like if it had some sweet colours.

The Edgar Allan Poe drawing is great! Nice shading.

The broken heart kicks ***. Great design.

And finally, the Adelyne one looks all right, but more detail and more shading would make it a lot better.

Far as the mermaid, I was going for "alien" looking: giant eyes, funny nose and no eyebrows. If you think about it, eyebrows aren't needed, actually.
Not much to comment on the other ones, than what has been said. The fairy one is older than dirt, and no, its not very detailed. You can tell I didn't care much about her wings. And the Edgar picture I drew for a shrink friend of mine.

Ah, okay. That explains why the mermaid was so weird-looking.

All of these are really good. I like all of the ones of your original character. She is a great creation. My personal favorites are the ones of Edgar Allen Poe and the broken heart.

these are much better than your last, if i'm thinking of the right thread.

you should really invest in a tablet though.

Tablet...?

You've never heard of these?

I just got an Intuos 2. Gawd, I really need to apply it to some of my sketches. I've barely used it. =/

And your drawings aren't bad. They've improved a lot, again, if I'm thinking of the right thread. You've gotten better at poses and stuff, but to me, the faces are still pretty generic, and in often cases, very similar to each other in your drawings.

I do, however, love the Edgar Allen Poe drawing.

Those suckers look cool. I should get one.

They're definitely worth it. I'm really surprised you'd never seen one before.

I grew up in the middle of a cornfield. Now I reside in the middle of a desert. Its not that shocking.

(get a wacom)

Intuos3 is the best tablet. you actually lose some quality if you go for a cintiq, but you can see that you're doing right on screen so it makes it worth it for some people. but you get used to not looking down at your hand within a week easy.

Posted by Kendra, Warrior Babe

Eh, I don't like looking down at it anyways. Have to hold it up now and then, because when I see it at an angle, I tend to make the shapes all wrong and funny looking.
