10 megs up? Sounds unlikely. Might be what you're paying for, but I doubt your ISP ever gives it to you. They might, but that just seems completely contrary to the wishes of a provider, as you can see by everyone else's test.

megabit is not the same as megabyte.
10mbit/s is about 1 MB/s.

I could get 80mbit/s for another $3, but it's money I can't afford to lose atm.

well this should give me a pretty good idea what ping i have when i play ant at street fighter

Not even close I bet. I get a ping of 87 connecting near ant, which over Xbox is pretty much impossible. I don't know how SF handles latency, but you'd have to basically live in the same city as the host to get a ping like that on just about every major online title. CoD4 for example, though very different, 167 ping would be a full four bars, as in about the best connection you can expect.

Stick. Probably not that much more expensive, and having an arcade stick is so much nicer.

oh, to be more specific it was for the mad catz one. after seeing a video of the two that are coming out, I got the cheaper one since I didn't feel like putting down 150 for the "tournament" edition. but they both look really good quality. So hopefully I wasn't wrong in going for the cheaper($70) one.

At 70 bucks I highly doubt it. The other stick is likely for kids who are going to be playing that day and night and really put a beating on the stick.

never played street fighter with an arcade stick ever

they even had an arcade booth on my first day of uni that was being used to attracted people to the gamer's society. but fuuuuck never got to play it because i was hanging out with new people.

if i could find that mspaint i drew of **** *****ES PLAY GAMES i'd post it right now

not so much the stick as it is the buttons for me. But I grew up around a lot of arcades.
