I NEED HELP!

I just bought a SNES...and when i put that game in...a blue screen pops up and says,

this product will no operate when connected to a device which makes unauthorized copies.


what does this mean? is it the game or the game system? and how do i fix it?????

I actually had this problem once with Donkey Kong Country 2, except I think in DKC2 I remember the message showing up in the ship cabin and the DKC2 1up noise plays. It scared the heck out of me!

It is a lockout method that Nintendo used to keep people from playing pirated games.

In your case this could be due to buggy or dirty hardware, or even a dirty game. Try a different controller if you can, also try cleaning your system and game if the controller thing doesn't work.

it means you don't have the cartridge inserted correctly. It happened to me only 2 times with a super mario all stars game.

sure did. I got it once for DKC and once for super metroid as well.
