"Pole" always suggests a racing title, to me, but a mushroom is usually Nintendo's thing.
Marvelous's countdown is more interesting. The Triforce symbol did not originate with the Legend of Zelda series, but is a common symbol of good fortune in various cultures, so it's possible that this countdown is unrelated to Nintendo's series. Does that feather look familiar to anyone? I want to say I've seen it before, but can't quite place it.
I'll pass on that Pole game. The other one could be cool, though.
I might check out Pole's Adventure or whatever it's called. An NES parody game sounds like fun.
The video for Hero for 30 Seconds didn't impress me, but the concept does. I'll have to read up on some of the details of the game.
