Call of Duty: World at War
Nazi Zombies.
Kirby Superstar Ultra
Fallout 3.
Midnight.
Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories [Sora]
now to beat it as Riku
Just Cause for PC
Super Robot Wars alpha for Playstation
Guitar Hero World Tour on medium... Now I need to go back and figure out which songs I didn't beat on hard. It's only like two or three. I played through on hard, bumped it down to medium for a couple songs, then moved it back up to hard on the next song.
Okami.
Mario Kart Wii
the entire thing, beat.
Gears of War 2
Huh, guess this should be stickied.
Melty Blood: Act Cadenza
Gundam Battle Assault 2
Resident Evil (GCN)
Oh, and Star Fox, which I've owned for ******* years and never beat until now.
Too Human
How unfortunate for you.
speedfreak can you fill out the list please
Little Big Planet. w00t
that's a beatable game?
my impression was, from what i've seen, a sandbox game where you kinda construct levels and play around on them and share the online etc.
Resident Evil (GCN)
Oh, and Star Fox, which I've owned for ******* years and never beat until now.
This is the SNES Star Fox or what?
What? No, there's no game such as Nazi Zombies. Not that I know of.. Just a special mode that unlocks after you complete WaW
Is there any other game that goes by just "Star Fox"?
huh.
good to know.
Beat Chrono Trigger today. That was way easier than I remember it being, but then again I was like 7 and didn't know what half the spells did.
oh and i beat solitaire
Megaman X: Maverick Hunter
Wario Land 2
I got all the treasures, map pieces and finished the secret level.
oh yeah. braid. funny how easy some of those seem in retrospect when they were so so hard to figure out at first.
lol @ linko being too lazy to update his own stats.
Fallout 3: WEAK ENDING!!! Why the **** did I do so many side quests for THAT! fuuuck. Well, atleast it was completely awesome until the final cinematic. I with the ending didn't actually end the game. I would have liked to see some of the changes after using the purifier, ya know? See the world I saved? meh.
Now I just need to finish MassEffect and ChronoTrigger DS before school starts up next week. CAN I DO IT? WILL MY GIRLFRIEND REMAIN MY GIRLFRIEND AS I PLOW THROUGH GAMES INSTEAD OF BETWEEN HER LEGTS. Find out next time *DBZ music starts playing*

list updated
No More Heroes.
Pretty much did everything you can do, in less than 14 hours.
Good game, but returning that **** since there's no blood.
Haha, oh yeah. You guys got that stuff edited out. How silly.
Shadow of the Colossus. It was GOOD.
Whole game was awesome. Had the difficulty just right. Never died, but I lost a fair amount of hearts. That and being able to write on a map... man, almost hard to go back to games where you can't. Console zelda games need to go back to the WW art style.
got bored with it after the 2nd boss. game sucked.
you also didn't like mass effect, so your opinion is void
You didn't beat Phantom Hourglass, Ant?
wtf, man. wtf
And I agree with you there, Vamp. I would love to see the next console Zelda game with cel-shaded graphics. What is your favourite Zelda game?
Majora's. Had the best balance out of all of them, but PH is easily the best handheld zelda. by faaaaaar.
i hated majora's simply for the fact that it was timed.
i'm unoriginal and like OoT
Wasn't really timed. I hate timers more than anyone else, but I still enjoyed MM. Plus, you could slow down time to a crawl, so the time limit never really factored in.
Majora's Mask is a fucking masterpiece, and was an excellent follow-up to Ocarina of Time. It's too bad so many discarded it due to its differences. :(
most smart people like majora. everyone else likes oot. kinda like ffvii and ffvi. except oot was actually good.
Devil May Cry 3
Seiken Densetsu 3
**** yeah. Wasn't the end amazing?
It was pretty wowsome.
Console zelda games need to go back to the WW art style.
Maybe a continuation of WW, a new Zeruda with mr toon? noplz.
Majora's. Had the best balance out of all of them, but PH is easily the best handheld zelda. by faaaaaar.
I'd say Minish Cap, by farer.
most smart people like majora. everyone else likes oot. kinda like ffvii and ffvi. except oot was actually good.
And the one's that like ALttP and VIII best, they're just over the top, man.
Now that I think about it, it would also be cool to have the Wind Waker setting but with realistic graphics. Imagine a stormy island with roaring, realistic waves as a huge pirate ship comes near. Also, since sailing did get a bit tedious in WW, how about having an area that's the classic Hyrule field, but still having a part of the game where you sail around? That idea seems kinda cool to me. Perhaps it could be a sequel to Twilight Princess when Hyrule starts flooding.
Chrono Trigger DS. Yay!
wind waker's art style owns. it's the only game of the last console generation that doesn't make me wince when i look at it. (except maybe rogue leader)
Rouge Leader doesn't look so hot. Only games that don't make me wince are Metroid Prime 1 and 2, WW, Black, Chronicles of Riddick and Ninja Gaiden.

man, that art style owns. and it suits zelda so well. except maybe majora's
majora's worked because it was dark as ****.
also, linebeck owns
still the darkest game i ever played
ALTHOUGH DOOM 3 IS A CLOSE CONTENDER! HEH! WHO'S WITH ME?
Yeah, pretty much. Other games try to be dark but they confuse black and grit with dark.
final fantasy VI was pretty good at that too
YOU WIN!! BUT HUMANITY WILL PROLLY DIE OUT ANYWAY!!
PH was a direct sequel to WW.
Which is why I liked it.
you said a continuation of WW would be preferable. Which is technically PH. What you want is a continuation of PH.
A continuation of WW on a console.
I just can't take handheld games as seriously.
They feel like minigames.
How the **** does PH feel like a minigame? Felt more like a fullblown game than both WW and TP combined.
If you say so..
Majora's Mask + grimdark Killer 7 styled cel-shading.
Would be awesome.
fffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuck i didn't know there was another page
I don't know. Can't see that style working. Concept is interesting though.
Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
Mass Effect (Hardcore)
that counts right?
no
how many jiggies did you finish with cats? i think i'm gonna go back and try for all 131
you two... jesus christ.
cats, do you even have cod5 yet?
ffffffff
fine, jeez, whatever. it's been, like, since november that we've played a game together. I miss you, buddy
uuuugh jeez fine I'll buy it on the way to class tomorrow. there's a Gamestop like, RIGHT THERE.
whatever, only a matter of time before i drop out and play CoD full-time.
should've dropped out on your first day anyways. save everyone the trouble
it... crossed my mind. it's high school you don't have to show up for. siiigh.
become friends with someone and then just borrow their notes all the time
I can vouch for vamp's method. Did that on accident all the time. Act all proactive and email the guy like "Hey we should study this stuff..." and then show up without notes like "JEEZ, MAN... TRAFFIC... AND MY MOM... THE HOSPITAL... CHRIST..."
free notes for life
I beat Wario Land: Shake It!. I've got all the extra levels and missions to do now, but I've beaten the end boss, so it might as well go on the list.
Fantastic game, though. PICK IT UP, TRY IT OUT.
my university posts all the lecture notes on the internet, it owns
i still go to my programming lectures though, mainly for the entertainment of pathetic student vs lecturer debates
I don't know. Can't see that style working. Concept is interesting though.
It'd look like this:

Bright colours with solid black shading. It'd look great.
Finished Mass Effect.
Resistance 2
Great game, at first I thought that it was dumb how they were trying to be somewhat like Halo mixed with Call of Duty, and I thought that the gameplay in the first resistance was better, more challenging, and more unique. Although later on I realized how interesting the story was, the ending cinematic was probably one of my favourites. and the Co-op, and Competetive are pretty great too.
Unreal Tournament 3
Golden Sun The Lost Age
Mother 3
and Okami
Dark Space.
Dark Space.
?
Oh yeah, Dead Space. Completely forgot about that one.
Half Life Opposing Force. Great game but very very short.
Gotcha Force
skate 2 owned sup first game 2009
spent, like, two minutes looking for your name in the list before I realised it wasn't there. surprised that's the first game you beat of the year.
oh fuuuuck i forgot
i beat mirror's edge too
would rage if this was the old list
I beat Metal Gear Solid 2. Good game. :o
I...don't think I've beaten anything this year. wow
Earthbound
Dragons Lair
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Megaman X
Mother 2
I had to deal with all that Japanese so I'm counting it. Took awhile to do.
So you beat Earthbound and Mother 2? Why? Do you know Japanese?
Free Space 2 (Open source, couldn't handle the original graphics anymore.)
So you beat Earthbound and Mother 2? Why? Do you know Japanese?
Nope, I just played Earthbound first then Mother 2 and used a combination of remembering and guesswork.
Why would you do that? Do you feel you're actually getting anything more out of it?
Radiata Stories.
What a ****ty ending.
Why would you do that? Do you feel you're actually getting anything more out of it?
No I just don't have many games to play.
BFME II
BFME II: ROTWK
skate. 2
sweet
I find Rocko's list highly suspicious.
...why was fallout 3 deleted from my section?
It wasn't. The list is ****ed up. Not in complete alphabetical order. Fixing it.
add rock band 2 for me
got 1,000,000 fans and got inducted into the rolling stone hall of fame
you are able to do it yourself, you know
Megaman Legends
brings back memories. great game, didn't realize the voice acting was so terrible.
Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe
beat both story modes, didn't bother with anything else.
BioShock
weird game, cool last boss.
Fallout 3: Operation Anchorage
yeah idiot geez
cool looking.*
yeah the actual boss itself was kind of stupid but I liked the design of it.
you are able to do it yourself, you knowcmon man do it for me pleeeeeease
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Wii)
It's fun throughout the entire game to use force powers, but there isn't enough depth to the combat system to be as satisfying as the combat mechanics of other beat-em-ups. This is because while enemies are aesthetically varied, they can more or less be broken down into just a few classes, and every enemy within a class is functionally identical. Every big enemy is beaten by force pushing objects at him, and every horrid boss battle is beaten by waggling the Wii Remote uncontrollably as the Player circles the opponent in close range. The most interesting enemies are, surprisingly, the same-sized grunts, since they are vulnerable to most attacks. Considering the game is a little longer than expected, it can get quite repetitive.
The story is surprisingly good, as a successful job is done to allow Players/viewers to care for the fate of Starkiller and the people around him. This is coming from someone that doesn't usually care for the Star Wars universe. Too bad it's presented with the most awkward looking animations played by anatomically challenged models. Check Starkiller's shoulders, or merely his running animation for proof. Lighting is also terrible, so the whole game looks ugly.
The control scheme is, while not very accessible in the beginning, a successful job of emulating a beat-em-up in a console not suited for the genre. Krome Studios did a very good job with this, and at least their miserable QTEs are easier to pull off than their X360/PS3 counterpart. They're also not required to beat enemies, but it does make it significantly easier.
the wii version has more levels and unlockable characters which is p. good
I was pretty much done with the game a couple levels before the 360 version finished. So I can't imagine wanting more levels.
i liked it, but the repeated levels and the stupid 'you take damage on the ground' system ****ed me off
The knockback **** pretty much ruined the game for me. Getting stuck in an endless loop of getting knocked to the ground is plain retarded. Like, PS1/Early PS2 retarded.
Digimon World
Rampage: Total Destruction
just beat the witcher enhanced edition. this game is the most ownage pc rpg of the decade.
beat the first Zone of the Enders
probably going to beat the second one tonight
super fast robot action
good times
Man, Kojima seriously need to make a ZOE3. Been a long time coming.
Last update I heard about it was in '07, so we may never see another.BUT, if we do it needs to be released for multiple systems. I don't want to buy a PS3.
Mutliplatform guaranteed. But yeah... never going to come out anyways. Shame.
if it cant earn kojima 200mill+ he dont give a ****
Marketed right it could easily sell 2 million copies.
FROM THE PEOPLE WHO BROUGHT YOU AN ELDERLY/ANIME OTAKU SLASH FIC
And not exclusive to one console. That's important.
Devil May Cry 4 (Devil Hunter)
Zone of the Enders 2
that anubis battle when you're going to aumaan was way more epic than i remember
good times
Bejeweled 2
Mega Man Maverick Hunter X
Rivera: The Promised Land (PSP)
Fable 2
wicked cool game. honestly loved it. i dont get why people hate the ending, though: [SPOILERZZ]
finally seeing your family's massacre and then watching your character's evolution throughout the game in one motion was freakin sweet.
molyneux finally nailed the idea he's been trying to attain since B&W
Everyone hates every ending. Like Prince of Persia. Loved that ending.
prince of persia's ending was hella sweet though it kinda sucked that they gave you no choice in how you treated elika's death
What, like just go "whatever" to her death? that would be a little lame.
just honor her sacrifice and allow everyone to enjoy the EVIL-FREE world
kinda like how fable 2 ends. you can bring back the millions who died for the spire, or just bring back your family
Oh. Yeah. That makes sense. But where's the sequel potential in that?
dude. ****.
spoilers
you should now about the ending in advance
otherwise you're gonna miss out on 50 easy achievement points
**** spoilers then. Achievements > story
there are three choices at the end of the game, each with a 25G achievement. you cant make save files so there's no way to go back unless you shut off your box or go to dashboard the moment you unlock the achievement
haha. lame. Still do it though
totally worth it
if there was an achievement for breaking a game disc in two for 1000G i would so do it
Depending on the game. If it was CoD4, nah, because the game is still expensive as ****.
jade's game? done.
Is there anyone who will beat games on your account to get you achievement points yet? like is that a service that exists?
Did. Not sure if it still does.
Dex will pay you.
I'll do it
Beat The Witcher. Great game.
So that's where've you been.
Pajama Sam 3: You Are What You Eat From Your Head to Your Feet
COD:W@W
Pajama Sam... holy **** I remember that game.
Pajama Sam was basically like Resident Evil but without the zombies.
I was looking for a blank disc and came across it.
Was very excited.
Freddie Fish and Putt Putt were better.
That's right, I said it.
Daxter
Yggdra Union (PSP)
You take that back.
edit: putt putt was pretty cool but freddie fish was just terrible.
Putt Putt was certainly better. At least out of all those games I have the best memories of putt putt.
Oh man, Putt Putt was great.
pajama sam is superior.
i have fond memories of putt putt goes to the moon
probably my favorite putt putt game
there was a putt putt goes to the moon?
does unlocking Akuma count as beating SFIV cause i think i may have beat it
might wait until i have all the challenge medals though
you can get akuma by playing on the easiest difficultly without trying at all and still beat him.
yeah, he's a freakin pushover. love it. i cant get gouken until i learn how to do raging demon though :(
NHL 09 won the stanley cup as the Buffalo Sabres in "Be a pro" mode. I'm going to just count that as a game completed.
ok i have gouken now, just grinding to get seth. man i hate arcade mode
50% of the achievements and unlocking all the dudes I'd say counts as beating sfiv
I still have to unlock Seth. Getting 50% of the achievements will be easy but take a while. Literally every SFIV achievement is a long grind.
idk, unlock all the characters then or something? That's how you usually "beat" a fighter I guess.
still need to unlock gouken and seth. in time it shall be done.
as for achievements I'm at 370.
i just beat the game on hardest and didnt need to use a continue so i think i p. much own the game now
k
still unlocking seth though... sigh
love fei-long's story line. SHADOLOO OWN OUR MOVIE RIGHTS, GO KILL BISON SO WE CAN MAKE YOUR NEW MOVIE
didn't really beat it then you noob. too lazy to undo it anyways
to unlock seth you need to beat the game with all 24 characters
it's p. gay bro.
you're pretty gay bro
until you do it you didn't really beat it
beat dat spy fox
*** of War
why have I not played this before!? ammazing game, great puzzles and one of the most interesting stories I've played in a long time.
**** you, pal. unlock seth and I'll add it in.
wait, you're a super mod. point stands
FINE. I WILL WORK AND STRIVE UNTIL I HAVE PROVEN MY WORTH.
or you can add it in yourself. But you wouldn't be a true gamer. Is that what you want?
Seth unlocked.
Eat it.
doesn't it feel so much better now?
Today, I am a man.
Street fighter was a game that played you,
now
you are the gamer who played Street Fighter.
i got seth. finally. jeez. only 50 points away from 50%
Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence
Yggdra Union (PSP)
Daxter
Legacy of Ys: Books I & II
Viewtiful Joe
can also add Street Fighter IV for me now as well
can also add Street Fighter IV for me now as wellwhat was your favorite storyline
don't really remember.
I guess Dan and Bison from what I can remember.
Can also add Phantom Hourglass on there. Finally.
I completed Half-Life 2 Episode 2 again the other day. The damn thing's flawless. Sometimes I wish all games were that long and just as infinitely replayable.
Ultimate Doom and Dark Messiah of Might and Magic and Shadow of the Colossus.
GTAIV: The Lost and ****ed
definitely had a better story than vanillaIV, a lot of wicked cool missionz
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows on the "good" path.
Fun, if insanely repetitive at times. A developer shouldn't make an open-city game unless the budget is large enough to allow for varied content.
The voice acting was horrible, which is odd, considering Activision Marvel normally have decent voice talent on their games. Spider-Man was probably about the worst casting choice. Bring back the actor from Unlimited Spider-Man and the PS1 games!
It was alright
Portal: Still Alive.
Man, that's a good game.
Bomberman Max 2: Red Advance
F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
Skate 2
G0d of War 2
liked the first one better but still, epic game.
Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories (Reverse/Rebirth)
*******it x. couldn't update a single thing
k updated and also beat H.A.W.X.
you didn't update mine
Zelda PH
Street Fighter IV
Resident Evil 5
B ecause you didn't post those.
resident evil 5
peggle DS
such a dickhead
post that **** in caps at least.
I did for the first two you ASS

Resident Evil 5
The World Ends With You. Took longer than I expected. over 80 hours.
That's a long time. Did you do all the extras or what?
Didn't even know about them until week 2. the secret reports that is. So I'll just do them later, same with getting the rest of the pins. Mastered about 250 so far so I don't have too many left.
Wow, that's a lot of mastered pins. There's way too many pins for me to even bother. I haven't touched the game since I beat the main story, actually.
I grinded the **** out of that game though. Have like 3500 battles by the end.
sometimes i would boot that game up and just play battles to listen to the music
music owned. would download the soundtrack
klarth has it, i would upload it if i wasnt at college
I'm sure I can find it... but I don't wanna look.
Soma Bringer (DS)
Chibi Robo Park Patrol (DS)
TOO MUCH JAPAN in the first game, holy ****. I was ready for the game to end, and then I got another 2 hour long act in which there were a bajillion cutscenes. Every single one just broadened the fact that this guy was a complete retard and couldn't take a hint from his non-human definitely-going-to-disappear-in-the-end love interest. Best lines included:
"Tch...!"
"But if that forcefield stops all living beings, and you got through, then that means you're...! (rephrased 9 different ways before the characters actually 'understand')"
"..."
"Heh."
Second game was great, besides the repetition in the beginning when your friends run out of energy all the time. And I doubt the scenes needed to be repeated every time they died and you brought them back. I really enjoyed cruising around the park in my pink convertible, though. Put together some sick flower-watering combos, too.
Chibi Robo ****ing rules. How the **** has there not be one for the Wii yet? It was so made for that console. Both games own.
Resistance 2 [Co-op]
you might not say it counts but I think that when I level up my medic to level 30 (max) it coutns as completing the co-op campaign.
Sonic and the Black Knight. The art and overall look of the game is great - between this and Sonic Unleashed, Sonic's image and style are largely repaired from the goofy idiot he had turned into, which for me is a big improvement. But Sega needs to stop trying to make new gameplay styles for Sonic, especially since they can't make very good ones. This game is not even close to worth owning. Just let Sonic be his old self! I know they're capable of doing it, the ordinary Sonic levels in Sonic Unleashed where kickass. Just make a game full of that, then add Tails and Knuckles. And Metal Sonic.
Viewtiful Joe 2
The World Ends with You
How the **** are you supposed to get Mingle PP when you don't know anyone else with a DS?
You got a Wii don't you? Wii channel, download a DS demo and just keep backing in and out of mingle.
Or leave the game on all night to run into aliens. Which is about 100 mpp. Should get two a night.
Doom 3
Finished 3 games in a week so far. Going for 5.
Bunny Must Die
Mega Man 9
Majora's Mask
DOUBLE POSTIN THIS **** FOR A MAJOR OVERHAUL
Pokemon Puzzle League - Very Hard mode
Pokemon Puzzle Challenge - Super Hard mode
Tetris Attack - Hard mode
Panel De Pon - Hard mode
no you shut up they're not all the same game
pokemon platinum wasusp
jojo's bizarre adventure, holla
Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles.
Sort of.
Did the bad end, but Drac's new third form is kicking my ***.
GTA chinatown wars is taking me forever.
Little Big Planet.
It took me a few weeks to get around to finishing it because I've been playing it co-op with David on it and I didn't want to go and beat it without him. But, now we finished all stages and beat the final boss. However, it may be some time before I can go for 100% completion, because I only have the two controllers and just David and I weren't able to fulfill the x3 and x4 player areas. If I can manage to figure out if any of my friends own a PS3, maybe we can hang out some afternoon and get it done.
Either way, it's an amazing game. I didn't want to get started on the level creator mode until I had as many objects and materials and stuff as possible, so now that I'm done, I'll try making some levels.
I like how that game pretty much completely fell off the radar after about a month. Shame.
I can see how it could be easily forgotten once you're all done. It depends on how lastingly entertaining the level creator turns out to be, and it'll be a pretty good long while before I might ever feel like playing through the main story levels ever again. But, I'll always remember how kick-*** it was.
level creator owns. only reason to buy the game since the "story" section is garbage.
your garbage
takes one to know one
The platforming on LBP isn't all that great though. I mean it's fine, but yeah.
Could've used some better puzzles.
Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice
best RPG I've played in awhile.
Finished the main quest in Oblivion, as well as all the guild quests.
dead space
Pixel Junk's Monsters.
Sweet game actually.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time
******* PRACTICALLY EVERY SINGLE ENEMY ATTACK INDUCES STATUS EFFECTS AT ENDGAME
Yeah they've made some improvements over the first game.
*** of War II.
Man, forgot how badass the boss battle with the two sisters of fate was.
Wario Land: Shake It!
Gitaroo Man Lives!
well worth the 5 bucks. short and sweet and very entertaining. now to play it on Master mode.
Beat Condemned, though I don't really consider it being beaten, seeing as a I loaded my save from when you're in the farm house taking down SKX. Had to kill him this time, easy 50 points.
oh and metroid zero mission
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
does it get good, i got bored about 10 missions in
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness
I like how my list is so ******* huge compared to everyone else's.
My list would be longer, except I'm playing a lot of sandbox games that can't really be "completed", so yeah :(
And I just play the same games over and over again that I've already beaten.
BioShock.
saved all of those little sisters
really, as the game progressed, big daddies just got more and more easy
also that part where you have to escort the little sister was the worst part of the game
**** that ****
i thought i'd get another care package if i didn't let one die
took me way too many reloads for absolutely nothing
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
Great game. :cool2:
Space Chimps
Blacksite Area 51
Resident Evil 5
Medal of Honor Airborne
Gears of War 2
Ape Escape 3
main character should have had red hair. **** that ****.
Star Ocean: Second Evolution
Champions: RTA,
Iron Man,
Goblin commander.
Finished them all in 6 days :).
Hannah Montana: The Movie. 4 hours of cute, silly nonsense.
Mirror's Edge. Sometimes frustrating, other times like a Jackie Chan film, making you feel as if you can do irl what you see on-screen.
x-men vs street fighter on one quarter
neo turf masters
peggle nights ds
Cave Story - Medium ending.
Good lord this game is amazing.
This weekend:
Eternal Sonata PS3 version.
Neo Geo Battle Coliseum PS2
Resident Evil 5
Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay
Heroes of Might and Magic V
Heroes of Might and Magic IV
Mirror's Edge.
If I had any complaints, they would be about minor mechanics issues - sometimes the game has you interacting with the same type of object differently depending on where it wants you to go with it. The best example that comes to mind is a guard rail - sometimes the game has you vaulting off of it, sometimes climbing up and over it, and sometimes climbing up to stand on top of it. The reason it does this seems to be that, on any particular stage, you're only supposed to be using one, chosen path to make your way through it, and the way you interact with the object supports that path, which brings me to the other thing that was a shame about Mirror's Edge: lack of freedom to run around. Many of the game's great puzzle rooms in which you had to figure out the complex method in which to get from A to B were delightful, but in other areas, especially when building-hopping, it would've been preferable to be able to go however you wanted - I got tired pretty fast of intuitively thinking to go a certain legit-looking direction only for it to stop me and say "no, turn the **** around, this isn't the way we made for you." The game would've been highly improved if all objects worked the same all the time so you, well informed of how the world around you works, could chart your own course rather than having the game think for you 100% of the time. That kind of room for creativity would've been a gas.
Despite that painfully detailed but ultimately small objection, I wildly enjoyed Mirror's Edge and look forward to the sequel it quite blatantly suggested awaits us.
Klonoa
Rogue Galaxy
so i found my copies of megaman zero 2, 3, and 4
i beat them all
and then sold 3 and 4
so yeah, add to my list:
Mega Man Zero 2
Mega Man Zero 3
Mega Man Zero 4
Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram (a couple of times, but it's not like i've been counting)
I've had an assload of free time lately for video games and lame movies. I beat Resident Evil 5, Gears of War 2, Fallout 3 and Radiata Stories since April. Radiata was mediocre at best, I really dug Fallout 3, and I enjoyed RE5 and GoW2 especially since I played both co-op the entire way through which makes the experience exponentially more enjoyable. I've had the most fun with RE5's Mercenaries and GoW2's horde mode or whatever it's called when you fight wave after wave of Locust.
Currently I'm playing Phantom Brave. The story's embarrassing to admit to playing for a guy in his twenties, but whatever, the battle system's pretty fun. With co-op I'm currently playing Left4dead. It goes without saying that I absolutely love that game.
Zack and Wiki.
I gave up on getting a good enough HirameQ score one sword-fighting on the second to last mission, and maybe it was just because I was all wound up with frustration from that, but I also found the final mission extremely irritating. The cinematic finale was really enjoyable, however, so thankfully the ending as a whole didn't leave me hating a game that had otherwise been excellent.
I understand I can now find secret treasures, and it's even nice enough to show me how many there are in each stage from the map, but I popped into a stage where there were supposed to be three hidden treasures and, despite my best efforts to look for anything hidden, I couldn't find a **** thing. Sigh.
I recently joined a blog that some former VGCers started and the cool thing to do there is videogame reviews, so I will likely be doing a review for Zack and Wiki sometime in the next few days, which I can link to if anyone gives a ****.

Alien VS Predator (co-op, four quarters)
Mother 3. It pulls at my heartstrings when they refer to me by name at the end. ;_;
I know exactly what you mean, my friend...
Valkyria Chronicles - That was a real challenging game, loved it.
Mega Man Powered Up
GrimGrimoire
Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria
MegaMan Legends
First completion in... months. HEY EVERYYBODYYYYY
Dead Space. Pretty kewl game. Excellent pace. I'd go through the sequel.
I have been playing this game, it's a middle aged war based game that over 100,000 people play, you should try it, it's addicting!
w w w.tribalwars . net / 4918384 . html
wind waker
four swords adventures
going for twilight princess now and then ocarina of time next
Rune Factory Frontier
Final boss was surprisingly awesome for a game that's mainly about farming.
Sarugetchu Saru Saru Daisakusen
Super cute PSP-exclusive Ape Escape game. I'm not entirely sure I beat it, but I did run through all the missions twice and defeated two forms of Specter, so I think it's over. It's impossible to tell for sure, though, since it's all in Japanese and there are no guides online. Controlling a combination of rocket-launching and ninja star throwing monkeys was lots of fun, and the music was catchy as always.
Shadow of the Colossus
An Untitled Story
Knights in the Nightmare
Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure
Oh, I guess I've been forgetting to make some additions.
WarioWare Touched! - Some may recall me complaining that this was never available anywhere in my local stores, but I found it the day before going on vacation and enjoyed it very much. I still have to compare my toys with a guide to make sure I didn't miss getting any for 100%.
Drill Dozer - found used in a GameStop on vacation for six bucks, a complete ****ing steal. At first I thought it was too simple and failed to deliver on the logic puzzles I was expecting, but I've beaten the game now and am sneaking into all the secret areas, and they're a ****ing blast. Enjoyed many triumphant cries of "THIRD GEAR MOTHER****ER" and "MINE IS A DRILL THAT WILL PIERCE THE HEAVENS."
Metroid - because the beginning of this game can be challenging to a first-time player, before Samus gets some of her more kick-*** upgrades, I was never quite dedicated enough to beat it, even after I stumbled upon it in a shop where it had allegedly been dropped off by a collector. But I thought that, with Metroid Other M in sight, I'd commemorate it by finally beating the original as well as the other Metroid game I own and have never beaten, Metroid II. I was able to hunt down all the missile expansions (not difficult at all, I had them all before I realized it) and all the energy tanks (now these ones gave me some headaches) for 100% completion, and I think before moving on to Metroid II I'll use my new game plus to go for under three hours, or maybe even under one hour. Possibly to follow: 100% on Super Metroid?
Ocarina of Time
Link to the Past
Four Swords Adventures
i swear i beat another game oh well it'll come to me
Alright, to add to my list since I last posted:
Rhythm Heaven
OutRun Online Arcade
Klonoa (Wii)
The World Ends With You
Pictobits
Giga Wing
Space Invaders Extreme
Aegis Wing
An Untitled Story
Advance Wars: Days of Ruin
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
Mirror's Edge
Peggle: World of Warcraft Edition
Final Fantasy IV
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia
Linko, Speedfreak, or The X, could you go through and actually update everyone's list?
Tales of Vesperia
Worms 2: Armageddon
Blazblue: Calamity Trigger
Castle Crashers
Halo 3
An Untitled Story
And maybe more. I need to stop using the Stealth Update option on Backloggery so I can actually keep track of my ****.
Wow, I feel like I am a slacker when it comes to completing games.
Prince of Persia (PS3) - This game was beautiful, the graphics just blew me away. The story was alright, and the voice acting was half-way decent. However I was a bit dissappointed at how easy the game was. You could not die, any time you were about to, you were saved by your female companion. Other than that, I had a lot of fun playing.
Resident Evil 5 (PS3) - Yet again another great installment to the series that is Resident Evil. They kept the controls just like RE4, so automatically it is a good game. The story was not bad at all, and the voice acting was good unlike a lot of past RE games. Graphics were good, boss fights were good, overall an excellent game. Mercenaries mode even proved to be worth my time as a friend and I put in countless hours just blasting zombies.
Street Fighter IV (PS3) - Another solid fighting game. Excellent graphics, and a well rounded game overall. I still play a lot, but not as much since some newer fighting games have been released.
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger (PS3) - Excellent fighting game, and very unique in my opinion. Only 12 characters, but that is 100% accepptable since each character is so unique. They all play so different from one another, it is like having 24 characters in any other fighting game. The story mode is a plus, the dialogue is just too good to pass up. I want to wear this game out.
King of Fighters XII (PS3) - Good game if you are a KoF fan. However this game seems to be incomplete when compared to other fighting games released for the next-gen consoles. All you have is Arcade and Versus mode, plus Online Play, but nothing else. Still a good character selection, but not near as many as past KoF games. The graphics are nice, but not as nice as they could be. I look at games like SFIV and BlazBlue, and KoF looks like a PS2 game. The CPU is too easy, I play on the hardest setting and they rarely beat my first character. I hope updates are released from this one.
Mirrors Edge (PS3) - Got it cheap, so I finally played it. What a fun game. Nothing about this game other than its concept really stands out, but I just had a lot of fun playing this one.
Thats all I have for now. Still working on trying to beat about 4 or 5 other games.
Batman: Arkham Asylum (PS3) on Hard, solved all 240 Riddler Challenges, solved Spirit of Amadeus Arkham, unlocked all upgrades.
This is an amazing game. Nearly every player mechanic is entertaining to use, useful and has a clear purpose, helped by outstanding level design that creatively takes advantage of them. Combat, while relatively simple, is still very fun and makes fighting ten guys at a time entertaining and challenging. The combat system, as well as the different detective-oriented tasks, puts the player in Batman's shoes as well as a game can. It is also lengthy by action game standards, especially when considering the level of quality and variety of every scenario. The game is never dull, though it starts fairly slow to teach the player the different systems available. Mark Hamil and Kevin Conroy reprise their roles as The Joker and Batman with the same quality as they did in the 90's animated series.
Also, others I've beaten since last I posted, though I can't remember if I posted them already:
Street Fighter IV (PS3) - 1CCed with Ken and M. Bison respectively on Hardest difficulty setting.
Devil May Cry (PS2) - Automatic mode turned off. It's still one of the best beat-em-ups one can play these days.
Devil May Cry 2 (PS2) - What a POS. It's mediocre at best.
Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (DS) - Don't know why some people don't recommend this one like the other ones. The cases are just as interesting, and now every case uses the DS features. Also, puzzle solving is arguably the most grounded on logic of the four games. I do miss Wright on the DA's stand, though.
Resident Evil 5
Okage: Shadow King
Wolfenstein 3D
Shadow Complex
Doom
Bioshock
Since my last post about 2 months ago can add on the following:
Viewtiful Joe: Double Trouble
BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger
Chrono Trigger (DS)
Anticipation
Jumping Flash!
Peggle Deluxe

add Phantasy Star to that list btw
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3) on Hard
An excellent improvement over the impressive original. The action sequences Naughty Dog implemented throughout the game, such as the helicopter chase, are ridiculously fun. The transition from cutscene to play is an improvement over the seamless transitions introduced in MGS4. The pacing is perfect, with only the train sequence proving to be a little too long, though its variety in challenges within it is still commendable. Action/adventure gaming at its finest, and an entertaining story with lovable characters akin to a well-written summer blockbuster.
Others I've beaten since my last post:
Sherlock Holmes: The Awakening (PC) - Solid adventure game, with tough puzzles, good voice acting (Holmes and Watson are perfectly cast), and a creepy story tying in The Call of Cthulhu without making it seem out of place. Still, it feels a little low budgety, but that's expected from most adventure games these days.
Dracula: Origin (PC) - Very tough, rewarding puzzles, though the setting and story fall a little short. They play around with Bram Stoker's characters from the novel to suit the game's purposes, though there rarely seemed to be a need for it (like the visit to Egypt). The ending was cheesy as hell. Overall the game is kind of a relic. I'm looking forward to Heavy Rain...
Way of the Samurai 3 (PS3), obtained three endings - A nice little game. Think of it as a lower budget, though still polished feudal Japan version of Fable. Your actions do affect the direction of the story to over a dozen different endings, from choosing to use the blunt edge of your sword, to looting dead bodies. The idea is that when you die or complete a story, you get to restart your story with the same character you played with the first time through. It's a great time waster, though I wish this game made a lot of money to earn a higher budget, and thus deeper mechanics, improved presentation and a larger, more interesting world. I didn't play the previous two games, so it was a treat for me.
Grand Theft Auto IV (X360) - Great game, if slightly easier than previous games in the series. Shooting mechanics are excellent, melee mechanics are solid, but AI is too stupid. The game is impressive in its amount of polished, enjoyable content. Missions are overall shorter than in previous titles. This might have been done to offset the possible frustration of retrying longer missions in previous GTAs.
Sly Cooper
Pretty alright game! I've got the other two to play next, and so far it looks like they made the sequel a lot more engaging but kept the charm of being a devious raccoon thief.
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2
The credits are rolling now. I'm so glad this game is finally over because I played for 70 hours stretched over more than a year. At the end I still appreciated some things, like how equipment has really cool descriptions, but I've had way more than enough of the battles. Time to play a faster-paced, super cute SRPG next. Probably Disgaea 2 for PSP.
oh cool, it just froze on me, too. THAT'S GOOD BECAUSE I DIDN'T EVER WANT TO PLAY NEW GAME+, EVER. But I find it odd that sly cooper froze up at the end of the credits, too. weird
edit: Oh, and Wario Land II, but I think I beat it the lamest way since the stats at the end said 50% level completion.
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles.
I got the bad ending though. ;-;
also new super mario bros wii
Policenauts. This game is too cool, even if a couple plot twists seemed kind of iffy. Definitely great for PS1 era gaming, especially if you like Phoenix Wright or MGS.
My favorite is: The Beatles: Rock Band
