When you think about it, the profound combination of the two items gives depth to the story and Sora as a character, who's weapon represents his ultimate goal as well as his here-and-now goals. There's no reason why other RPGs can't be just as creative with their character's weaponry. Even the other games that have weapons symbolizing key events in the story are either quickly outdated or only aqcuirable at a late point in the game or belong to a long, drawn out side quest. The Keyblade is the ultimate tool because it serves multiple purposes (no need for stupid item herding ala Zelda) and is carried by the main character for the entirety of the game, and can thus be used until maximum enjoyment.
I really wish more games had that kind of spirit enshrined in their character's equipment. It gives that much more depth.
I'm personally a fan of a large artillery, for both aesthetic diversity and upgrading.
nigga i swear i'll fckin kill you
I'm glad to see some debating going on.
Personally, I think it's a touchy subject.
Regardless, my faith for the Keyblade is unwavering.
ps: I love Poco. I am an egomaniac.
