Skyrim? That's right above bruma! ALL RIGHT!

Well, as long as it's not an MMO. Otherwise, not all right.

Posted by David M. Awesome

Nice.

Personally, I'd kind of like to see an Elder Scrolls set on the continent of origin for the Argonians or the Khajiit, even though those races have never really been major players in any of the stories.

dont ruin our ownage game with your furry fantasies

Posted by Vampnagel P. Wingpire

Cool.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

this means fallout 4 wont be out till like 2012 :(

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Can't say that's a bad thing. Alternating between TES and Fallout is a pretty good idea for the developers and consumers.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

i guess. plus, skyrim will probably have all the improvements FO3 made!

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

As long as they fix the walking animation I'm happy.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

it's part of the charm now

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Nothing charming about it. Every time I see it I imagine the world spinning around the character, rather than the character himself spinning.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

the melee and gun animations are actually pretty slick in FO3, wonder how they ****ed up walking again

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Didn't bother fixing it. Probably though "they're gonna be in first person anyways, who gives a ****" because it's the exact same.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

i go into third person whenever i'm not shooting because my character looks sick as hell

Posted by Breakman

you know what'd be a cool improvement?

weapons other than swords that are worth a ****
and hand-to-hand becoming badass

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

bow and arrow owned

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

or should that be 'arrowned'

heh

Posted by Shade

It was a good attempt.

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Yeah, I don't know what that fag was talking about. I switched to arrows about fifty hours into Oblivion and holy **** they were amazing. Plus, fists worked fine once you leveled. Oh, and axes and hammers were ****ing awesome too once you got good ones and leveled it up.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

i had the sword that was on fire and arrows most of the time

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

I'm pretty sure I used Umbra for a long while, then some other enchanted sword. Then in Shivering Isles I used the shadow sword that your shadow self drops. Best weapon in the game.

BAAAAAAAWWWWW
this means fallout 4 wont be out till like 2012 :(

Actually, if the pattern holds true, it'll be under a different developer again!
you know what'd be a cool improvement?

Had 'em in Morrowind.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

stop sucking morrowind's dick, semper oblivion

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Quoted post: Actually, if the pattern holds true, it'll be under a different developer again!

Bethesda would have to be ****ing idiots to let the rights go.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

they should buy the rights to all the old sierra games like QFG and revamp them for the 21st century

Posted by David M. Awesome
stop sucking morrowind's dick, semper oblivion

But it has so much more depth than Oblivion's dick does. :(
Bethesda would have to be ****ing idiots to let the rights go.

Pretty much, but I wouldn't be exactly surprised if it somehow ended up happening.

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Quoted post: they should buy the rights to all the old sierra games like QFG and revamp them for the 21st century

They'll all play like Oblivion. Awesome.

Quoted post: But it has so much more depth than Oblivion's dick does.

They're the exact same game. shut up. It's like fable to fable 2

Quoted post: Pretty much, but I wouldn't be exactly surprised if it somehow ended up happening.

I think most people would be surprised because it's ****ing dumb.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

fallout 4 should be set during the great war or maybe the european wasteland

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

aren't there still vaults with unknown locations? So, chances are it'll take place in amerikkka

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

all the vaults in the midwest are unaccounted for, unless you take BOS as canon

which you should not

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Oh, I thought there was a handful left. Huh.

Posted by David M. Awesome
They're the exact same game. shut up. It's like fable to fable 2

I still like Morrowind more. :(

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Vault#Known_Vaults

vault 69 owns

vaults 1- 7 are presumed to be in alaska and hawaii

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Fallout 4 confirmed for alaska

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

would be pretty cool, actually. all snowy and ****.

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Wait, in the Fallout universe what happened to Russia? Can't remember. But a game should be set there

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

was part of the chinese empire

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

FO4 in china

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

still rootin' for a great war game

the mission where you wore the prototype power armor and participated in the annexation of canada would own

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

FO4: Banned in Canada, ignites hostilities between Canada and the US. China and Russia see opportune time to join forces and attack.

FO4: Creates irl fallout

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

real life fallout would own

if only because the radio would finally play good music

Posted by Shade
They're the exact same game. shut up. It's like fable to fable 2

oh so you mean they're not exactly the same, then.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

shade you're not smart or funny (unlike me)

get out

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Quoted post: oh so you mean they're not exactly the same, then.

It's funny because fable and fable 2 are the exact same. the latter just does more of what the first promised.

Posted by maian

here's what I want:

The Elder Scrolls 5: Fallout 4

ok lets go

Posted by #061402

Whoa, went back to Fallout there. :)

But if it's set in Skyrim, I'd definitely buy it. The Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind was, by far, my favorite.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

i wonder which washed up Star ______ actor they'll get to do the intro this time

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

odds on carrie fisher. would have been mark hamill but he's actually a good voice actor.

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Quoted post: The Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind was, by far, my favorite

Shivering Isles; Oblivion*

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

THIS GUY, LOVE HIS OBLIVION

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

****, I know my way around that **** better than I do my own town.

Posted by maian

I think in Elder Scrolls 5, the world should advance from fantasy times, moving into more futuristic devices. But, I still think it should have a "past" feel, so they should decide on retro-futurism. And I think the story would be really interesting if they made the setting the aftermath of a massive nuclear war that took place like, two hundred years ago.

Posted by Klarth

god dammit maian

Posted by Shade

Nuclear wars were not a possibility two hundred years ago.

Posted by Sapphire Rose

Hahahahaha, oh wow.

Posted by Klarth

Quoting Shade: Nuclear wars were not a possibility two hundred years ago.

god DAMMIT shade

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

GODDAMMIT EVERYONE

Posted by #061402

Quoting Vampiro V. Empire: Shivering Isles; Oblivion*

I dunno. The intro music to Morrowind is so ****ing good I can't help but love it. Oblivion... just wasn't the same. Although I liked Shivering Isles. Nothing like talking to a crazy person.

Quoting Vampiro V. Empire: Yeah, Jeremy Soule rocks.

hell yeah bro, secret of evermore is wicked

Quoting Vampiro V. Empire: Yeah, Oblivion rocks.

What the ****, I hate it when I do that. Intend to write one word, think of another, writes the other word. FFFFFFFFF

Posted by Klarth

holy **** i just realised the oblivion theme is the morrowind theme recycled

i feel violated

Posted by maian

Quoting #061402: That's Fallout for ya.

oh wow didn't notice that but now that I'm thinking about it they should just make Fallout 4 instead

Posted by #061402

I honestly think I would've liked dismemberment better in Oblivion. Seems more likely that you'd be able to slice someones' head off in such a clean cut with a sword than a bullet.

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Quoted post: hell yeah bro, secret of evermore is wicked

The Oblivion soundtrack is definitely one of the better ones out there.

Posted by maian

I liked that one song in fallout

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X
Nuclear wars were not a possibility two hundred years ago.are you so ****ing dumb that you thought medieval times were 200 years ago or am i the ****ing dumb one

also the oblivion theme always gets me psyched to go pick locks and kill daedra

Posted by Sapphire Rose

Not really medieval.

Also, preferred the Morrowind song to Oblivion. Oblivion made me think of Pirates of the Caribbean too much. :(

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

medieval is the period between 800 and 1500

500 years ago welp

There were pirates in Oblivion though, weren't there? In the port just outside of the Imperial city.

it's the same song arranged differently

and now they both remind me of pirates

Were you dropped on the head as a child? Nuclear warfare was definitely NOT possible in the early 1800's.

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

requesting a ban

Posted by Shade

Denied.

Posted by Sapphire Rose

Quoting netman: it's the same song arranged differently

I know that. It's the way it was done that made me think of it.

Posted by Dr. Rockso

They better bring the Deadric Crescent back

Posted by David M. Awesome

****

yeah

Posted by #061402

Quoting Dr. Rockso: They better bring the Deadric Crescent back

Didn't know what you were talking about. Checked it up. How the **** did I miss such an awesome weapon?

Posted by BLUNTMASTER X

i got that sword that was supposed to be the one sword to rule them all

the name escapes me

Posted by Dr. Rockso

Personally, i thought the Wabbajack was the greatest weapon of all

Posted by Klarth

Quoting Shade: Were you dropped on the head as a child? Nuclear warfare was definitely NOT possible in the early 1800's.

the point

you are missing it entirely

Posted by Shade

I really am.

Posted by Vampiro V. Empire

Piece of ****. Works only on creatures and just turns them into another that will likely attack you anyways.

Skull of Corruption, however, is a ****ing badass staff.

That's a good news

Oblivion is definitely the best RPG out there.
